And yes, the title is a Mean Girls reference, but I figured it fits.
Charlie spent all day in her and Vaggie's room packing for their trip to Heaven, though it was Charlie doing more of the packing. Vaggie sat on the bed, watching Charlie pack like crazy. She packed almost five suitcases full of clothes and other items for Heaven. Vaggie reminded Charlie that she was only going to Heaven for a few hours. So, she didn't need to pack like she was moving. But Charlie clarified that the two of them were going to Heaven for a day and this was their last chance to convince Heaven that the hotel works. Vaggie fumbled with her words; trying to come up with a lie to get out of going to Heaven.
But she stopped trying, realizing that she was a terrible liar, even to her girlfriend. Charlie walked over to the bed and took her hands into Vaggie's. "Vaggie, you're my partner. I need you there with me." Charlie begged.
Vaggie sighed, "Fine."
"Yes!" Charlie squealed then she kissed Vaggie on her eyepatch.
Meanwhile downstair in the lobby, both Kara and Angel came into the hotel, bone-tired and completely messy. Niffty and Victoria noticed them come in looking like they got hit by a train. "What happened to you two?" Niffty asked.
"Long night at the club. Not easy running a business. And I had to pick up Angel at the studio." Kara answered.
"As for me, it's who happened to me. And the answer is everyone. Twice!" Angel answered.
Angel plopped onto the couch, worn out from his terrible day at the studio. Valentino made him work sixteen hours straight without a break. Alastor came downstairs with a warm mug of tea for Angel and handed it to him. Just then, there was a loud bang was heard as everyone looked to see the wall had been destroyed again. And the culprit happened to be un other than Cherri Bomb. She came to the hotel because Angel had been texting her depressing stuff all day and she figured that Angel could use a night out. Cherri Bomb tossed one of her little bombs to Kara who threw it out the hole before it went off.
Angel liked seeing Cherri Bomb, but he just felt like passing out. "Not even a night out with your siblings?" A voice said.
Angel turned to the hole in the wall to see Molly come in. "Molly?! Holly shit! Long time no see sister!" Angel said, excitedly.
Molly pounced onto her twin brother, trapping him in a tight hug. "Come on, Anthony. It'll be just like old times. You, me, and Niss having a wild night. It's our Sibling Bonding Night! And Penn is joining us too." Molly begged.
"Wait, how did you convince Nissy and Pentious to come out with us? You know he won't leave Jackie alone." Angel asked.
"Oh, I talked them into letting Jackie spend the night with Pops. Plus, I'm fucking Molly!" Molly answered.
Charlie told Angel that he should go out for a fun, responsible night with his siblings since he had been working so hard. Cherri told Kara that she wanted to take her out for a date night. "Cherri that's real sweet of you. But I'm a little worn out." Kara stated.
"Come on, love. What you really need is a recharge, a reinvigoration, are..."
"Relaxing night out?" Kara finished.
"Exactly!" Cherri shouted.
"Oh since Angel and everyone else have been working so hard. I think they deserve to have a little fun." Charlie said.
"Charlie. It's a sibling night out. Only for us." Angel stated.
"I think she meant with me and Cherri," Kara said.
Cherri wanted to argue but then Charlie handed her a thick wad of cash and she changed her mind. Just then, the portal to Heaven appeared in the lobby for both Vaggie and Charlie. Charlie tossed Vaggie into the portal then she waved goodbye and walked through the portal just as it was about to close. Alastor wasn't interested in a night out, so he offered to stay behind and guard the hotel. Victoria, Andy, Husk, and Niffty went with Kara and Cherri for a wild night. Monty would have joined them too but when he heard that Arackniss and Pentious were gonna be with Angel, he begged Molly to let him tag along.
The minute Charlie and Vaggie entered the entrance, Charlie was mesmerized by how pretty and clean everything was. Vaggie on the other hand was not impressed. At the gate, an angel named Saint Peters asked for their names. Charlie tried using her name, but Saint Peter said that she wasn't on the list. But when she used her dad's name; Peter's expression changed to surprise then he tried to tell Charlie that she might have been lost. Charlie tried to explain that she was there for a meeting. At that moment, two angels came flying down towards them, one was older, and another was younger, but she was just as bubbly and cheary as Charlie.
"Greetings, daughter of the Morningstar. I am Sere, the High Seraphim of Heaven. You are gifted to be here." Sera said.
"Hi, I'm Emily, the other Seraphim. Though you can call me Em! Emmy. E, whatever you want. I go by whatever." Emily rambled, "Welcome to Heaven."
The gates opened to reveal the Heavenly City itself. All around were souls called Winners having the time of their life in Heaven. Emily was so excited to show Charlie and Vaggie around since this was the first time she got to show outsiders around. But not everyone was happy will this. During their walk around Heaven, they didn't notice Adam and Lute who were surprised to see a familiar face up there. Adam wanted to put an end to it now instead of waiting for the extermination. Lute quickly shushed Adam and reminded him about the Seraphims' one rule that no one but the Exorcists can know about the exterminations.
Sera heard them then she teleported Adam, Lute, and herself somewhere private to talk. "Your Highness, forgive me, but what are the hell-spawn doing here?" Lute asked.
"Well, you failed to control the demons' unrest and now Lucifer is involved, setting up an audience for his misguided daughter." Sera answered, "I never would have agreed to your... yearly activities if I thought it would bring trouble to our doorstep. Keeping Heaven safe was my only reason for allowing it."
"What do you want from me? I'm just one guy." Adam complained.
"I want you to do whatever you need to do to keep this problem from getting any worse." Sera ordered.
Charlie took off to join Emily on a little trip to a zoo, but Vaggie wanted to stay in their room. Vaggie figured that she was safe in the room, but she was wrong. Someone knocked at the door and when she answered it, Adam and Lute walked into the room. "Charlie will be back soon. You need to get out." Vaggie ordered.
"I'm not looking for the blonde babe. I'm looking for you." Adam stated.
"Why?"
"Maybe because you left the band. You tried for a solo career. Or I guess it's more of a duet,"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Do you really think I wouldn't recognize one of my top girls just cause you're out of uniform?"
Vaggie's expression changed to shock. It was the one secret that she kept from Charlie, she was an angel, an Exorcist. Vaggie was one of Adam's best soldiers that is until one Extermination changed everything. It was years ago during an extermination, Vaggie and the other exorcists came down from Heaven, slaughtering sinners that were out on the streets. Vaggie noticed one running and she chased after it. She cornered it in an alleyway and was about to stab it when she saw that it was just a child. She let the child go, thinking that she did the right thing, but it came with a cost.
Lute saw everything and she sliced out Vaggie's eye and then ripped her wings off, saying that sinful filth like her has no place in Heaven. Vaggie was left behind; she took off her uniform and threw it away. She would have been double dead if Charlie hadn't found her. "To think someone as worthless as you landed Lilith's little hottie. 'Grats on that, I guess." Adam commented.
"Their love is vile and blasphemous," Lute growled.
"But I wonder what your bitch would think if she found out you are actually one of us," Adam stated.
Adam wanted Vaggie to work for him again and help him shut down Charlie's redemption idea or he'd tell Charlie about Vaggie's true identity. Vaggie refused to betray Charlie, but Adam was dead set on destroying Charlie's dream. As Adam and Lute left for court, Vaggie started to question if Charlie would still love her if she found out the truth.
