(Y/N)'s P. O. V

The next morning, the sun's golden rays spilled through the window, waking me up to a brand new day.

I jumped out of bed feeling super determined, ready to tackle whatever came my way. That interview at Horizon Nova had really sparked something in me and pushed me to keep going.

Yeah, Levi's unexpected ghost was still hanging around in the back of my mind, but I decided to focus on the new beginnings and the awesome things waiting for me ahead. That chance at Horizon Nova felt like the perfect blank canvas to start a new chapter.

Levi's P. O. V

The air was fresh and had that winter chill as I rushed my way to the big office building here in Switzerland. It was one of those tall, modern places that looked pretty impressive.

I stepped inside, my footsteps echoed on the smooth marble floor, and the sunlight streamed in through the glass walls. People were buzzing around, grabbing their coffees and saying hi as they rushed past.

Everything felt familiar but also a bit overwhelming. I came to Switzerland for a quick break, hoping to escape the past that had been following me around. But it seemed like life had other plans for me.

I made my way up the stairs, keeping a steady pace. When I reached the hallway leading to my office, a mix of memories and worries hit me. The walls were decorated with some abstract art, almost like they were watching my inner struggle.

Finally, I spotted my office door. It was like a gateway to all the responsibilities I had waiting for me. I glanced at the nameplate—seeing my name there was both empowering and a bit suffocating, it reminds me of everything I was trying to move away from.

I opened the door. The simple decor felt calm, which was a nice contrast to the mess inside my head.

I sat down at my desk and looked out the big window. The Swiss landscape outside was gorgeous. Those big mountains seemed strong and steady, reminding me that I could find my own calm if I focused on what mattered.

"Sir, Mr. Smith would like to talk to you." My assistant, Gerald, said to me.

"On note, he doesn't book a schedule for a meeting with you." He continues.

"Let him in." I replied.

As I sat in my office, surrounded by paperwork and the mess from my morning tasks, Gerald jumped in with news about Erwin arriving, and it caught my attention.

Erwin, a close friend I trusted. I couldn't help but wonder what brought him here unexpectedly.

"Levi," Erwin walked into my office, looking composed but also like he had something important on his mind.

"Erwin, what brings you here?" I asked, waving him over to take a seat across from my desk.

"I came across something that might interest you," Erwin began, his expression serious. "You remember (Y/N), right? I'm sure you do"

My breath hitched at the mention of her name.

"What about her?" I asked, doing my best to keep a straight face even though a mess of emotions hit me all at once.

"I've been conducting some research for an upcoming project and found some really interesting information" Erwin explained, his gaze focused.

"It looks like she applied for a job at Horizon Nova, a modeling company here in Switzerland."

Switzerland...

So I'm right...?

She was the girl I came across...

The name 'Horizon Nova' definitely sounded familiar. It's that well-known modeling agency famous for its tours and unique take on the fashion scene.

"She did?" I replied, doing my best to hide the mix of emotions that Erwin's news had kicked up inside me.

"Yes, and from what I gathered, she recently had an interview there," Erwin continued, watching my reaction closely.

"She has a chance of being offered a position there."

"Thank you for letting me know, Erwin" I replied, I was keeping my emotions in check, trying to look composed on the outside.

Erwin nodded, picking up the heavy feelings hanging in the air. "Levi, I thought you might want to be informed. I'll leave you to it."

As Erwin stepped out, I was left alone with a jumbled mess of thoughts. The idea of (Y/N) possibly joining Horizon Nova hit me hard, stirring up feelings I didn't expect.

It can't be...

She can't be there...
