The fresh morning air felt pretty nice as I stepped out of the hotel, ready to check out the lively streets of Switzerland.
Even though I was excited about the new career possibilities ahead, there was this little twinge of doubt sitting in the back of my mind.
I walked along the cobblestone paths, soaking in the scenery, my thoughts drifted back to yesterday's interview. Joining Horizon Nova seemed thrilling, but there was this weird feeling I couldn't shake—a feeling of hesitation I just couldn't ignore.
Lost in the buzz of the city, I spotted a cute, old-fashioned café that seemed too inviting to pass up.
I stepped inside, immediately hit by the comforting smell of fresh coffee, which felt like a cozy break from the cold outside.
I took a seat by the window and stared out, watching life go by, all while my mind started wandering back through the crazy events of the past few weeks. Getting an interview with Horizon Nova felt like the peak of it all.
I took a sip of my coffee, the warmth spreading through me, giving me a second to just breathe.
Then, in the middle of my thoughts, I saw a face walk by the window, a face that made my heart skip a beat.
Levi.
The one person who'd somehow found his way into every hidden corner of my memories.
My hands shook a little as I put my cup down, trying to wrap my head around seeing him here. 'It couldn't be him' I thought.
He belonged to a past I'd done my best to move on. But there he was, strolling along like he'd just wandered out of some old memory and into this moment.
And before I could even piece it together, he walked right into the café.
His presence hit me like a jolt, bringing up this crazy mix of feelings.
Surprise... confusion... maybe even a bit of concern...
Levi's P.O.V.
The café had this odd vibe, like it was both familiar and totally new at the same time.
As I walked in, my eyes scanned the room, and for a split second, everything seemed to stop.
There she was...

By the window, her face showed this mix of shock and disbelief, mirroring the emotions I'd buried deep for so long.
I'd tried to keep memories of her locked away, convinced I'd moved on, but fate clearly had other plans.
Even after all these years, she looked just as captivating. Seeing her there, I felt a wave of emotions crash over me. Miss. Regret. An urge to finally explain everything.
The café buzzed with people and chatter, but somehow, it felt like it was just us, frozen in time, caught between the past and whatever came next..
