Emily and Sara had set their alarm to eight o'clock AM. It rang when they woke up. Emily shut off the alarm. She proceeded to make herself some breakfast. There was a refrigerator in her white walled bedroom that had two apples and some bread in there. Emily used the toaster to make toast for both her and Sara. After they ate the bread and the apples, they got ready to proceed out the door. Emily put on her black pantsuit, and Sara put on a gray pantsuit. They put their black heels on and proceeded out the door, bound for the courthouse.

"Ok, the time now is eight forty five, do you think we can make it?" Sara asked.

"If I can find the place!" Emily replied. Sara punched in the courthouse on the GPS and it said to go straight onto 0, 100 North, and turn onto 0,0 where City Hall is, which is also the courthouse. Emily parked the car in the parking lot, then proceeded to enter the courtroom.

"Thank goodness you arrived." Uncle Phil said to Emily. He had a long face with a dark tan cap on his head with the red Phil's Garage diamond emblem on it.

"No problem, uncle." Emily patted Phil on the shoulder of his gray button down shirt. The judge with burnt orange hair in a bob and the body of a bullfrog whacked her gavel three times.

"Court is now in session." Judge Bertha announced in her deep and loud female voice. Melanie Ivanov, the prosecutor began her testimony.

"Phil Sanchez, the defendant, has stolen 500 million dollars that was in the safe." Melanie had told. She pulled a 50 dollar bill from the pocket of her pink pants and a hundred from her white blazer.

"These are two federal reserve bills that fell from the safe during the getaway, and this proves the defendant guilty."

"The defense may proceed." Bertha said as she let Emily begin her testimony.

"Hold on just a minute now." Emily began. "I have known Phil for a long time and he wouldn't have even thought of doing this." She brought her phone to the stand. "I will submit this recording as evidence that Phil Sanchez would never commit such a horrible crime." Emily played the recording.

"I only use my tow truck to tow cars to the station." It played. "If he admits that, how could he have used the tow truck for a smash and grab?"

"The prosecution will call a list of witnesses to the stand and they will testify," said Bertha.

"Call Carl Roberts, the bank teller." Carl Roberts proceeded onto the witness stand.

"Carl, do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" Melanie told Carl.

"Indeed," said Carl.

"If so, do help me God?" Melanie asked.

"So help me...AAAAH." Carl's mouth caught fire, causing an uproar.

"I'm burning!" Sara came to comfort Carl. Bertha started slamming the gavel.

"Order, order, order!" Bertha yelled. "The witness seems to be some kind of vampire, and a daywalker, no less. I will have him escorted to the hospital and for the prosecution to call the next witness." The police escorted Carl to the hospital.

"Call Emma James to the stand." Emma James, a ditzy blonde woman with the body of a tree branch and hair bleached so blonde it reflected light from the sun, had come up to the stand.

"Emma, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" Melanie asked.

"Mmkay." She said while applying lipstick on her makeup mirror.

"If so, do help me God?" Melanie asked.

"Whatever," said Emma in a sarcastic teenager-like tone. "So I was supposed to get my pink Lexus called to the station, but the tow truck wouldn't come, so I wondered what the tow truck was doing, and then when I realized it was being used for a smash and grab, I started to question the legitimacy of Phil's Garage as a business."
