It was Christmas morning in Al's residence. Al was sitting in front of the fireplace, sipping hot cocoa in a rocking chair. Emily came to visit Al.
"Merry Christmas, Al." Emily told her fiancé.
"Merry Christmas, Emily." Al looked under the tree and found a present. "It's from Gloria. "She intended to give this to you when she was alive, but since she's dead, it's from me." Emily opened the box and saw a note.
Dear Emily Sanchez,
I didn't know what to get you, so I got you my prized shotgun that I used to take the house back from those spiders. It's yours, my beautiful niece.
Emily shrunk the gun down to size with her magic and put it in her pocket. Katie and Hank arrived, as well as Jalen and Shalom.
"Merry Christmas, everyone!" Al greeted.
"Sorry, we didn't bother to buy presents this year! This year was too busy."
"You didn't have to get me anything!" Emily blushed. "The best gift you could ever get me is being here to support me."
"Ok, let's cut the emotional moments and put some food in our mouths!" Hank proposed. "What's Christmas without a Christmas dinner!" Al prepared the Christmas dinner with Emily. Everyone sat down in the dining room, ready to eat.
When everyone was gathered in the dining room to eat, Al placed the golden-brown turkey on the crimson red tablecloth.
"Ok, everyone, dig in!" While everyone was eating their Christmas feast, Emily got a phone call.
"Sorry, I need to take this." She took the phone call to the other room.
"The Christmas Carnival is in town!" Emily announced. "Want to come join?"
"Ok, let's go!" Everyone went to the Christmas Carnival that was at Lugosi Park. There were bounce castles, a Ferris Weel, a dunk tank, carnival games, and even raffle baskets.
"Ooh!" Emily gasped. "Let's try the Whack-A-Snowman contest!" Emily started the game and took the hammer and whacked the snowmen. She found a gold snowman and hit it and won three points. The highest score was 27, but Emily's score was 30.
"We have a new record set by Emily Sanchez!" The attendant announced. "Pick a prize!" Emily picked the polar bear plush.
"Here you go!" She gave the plush to Al. Hank and Katie found a penguin shooting contest.
"You ready for this?" Katie told her new love.
"For sure." Hank explained. "I was a good shot when in the hood." He took aim at the penguins and shot rubber darts at them. He got a score of 40 when the high score was 30.
"We have a winner!" The attendant cheered. "Pick your prize!" Hank chose the penguin in an orange sweater.
"This penguin's reppin' the Challengers!" Hank joked.
"I guess that's why you chose him!" Katie laughed. Jalen and Shalom were getting temporary tattoos done on their arms.
"What would you like?" The attendant asked. Jalen pointed to the arrowhead.
"I want the arrowhead." Jalen explained.
"Okay." The attendant used her airbrush and painted an arrowhead on Jalen's arm.
"You, madame?" The attendant asked.
"I would like the lion." Shalom explained. "The lion is a symbol of my culture, well before it was that character that represents Allah."
