Sophie's POV

Sophie's POV (Before whatever happened with Stacy and Andrew)

I was still standing in the hall like an idiot until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I held in a scream as I jumped to see Linh behind me.

"Linh you scared me!"

"Only way to get you out of your trance," she said, a smirk on her face. "You were standing here looking at Fitz's ass for so long I had to do it." My eyes widened at the sentence.

I grabbed Linh's hand and entered her already open apartment, closing the door behind us.

"Linh! Those halls are so echoey! What if someone heard you!" She shrugged.

"It had to be said."

"First of all I wasn't staring at Fitz's ass, second how did you know he was here?"

"A peephole Sophie. I heard your voice in the hallway and when I went to see I saw you and Fitz talking outside the apartment, and I saw you two hug!! That was the cutest thing ever!" I blushed.

"So you spied?"

"Duh."

"Please don't do it again, it's kind of disturbing." I pleaded.

"So you're saying there will be another time Fitz will be arriving at your apartment?" She smirked.

"No! Once again, stop rearranging my words!" I said, walking to her sofa.

"So how was today? Do you usually go to work with a hoodie on?" Linh asked.

"No, Fitz gave it to me. Stacy had bumped into me and her food had spilled all over my shirt. Fitz gave me a hoodie and even took me out to lunch afterwards. And he got me a cup of tea this morning."

"That's so sweet of him! How come you're always saying he's serious and stiff?" She asked.

"He did all of these favors today. And he kind of opened up to me today. He's so sweet and kind."

"He sounds like it. And he had been talking about Andrew, what happened?"

"We broke up," I answered.

"Really? Oh my god I'm so sorry Sophie. If you want to cry I'm always here for you." I gave a warm smile to her and shook my head.

"No, I actually don't feel like crying. There's nothing to cry about. And I'm already over him."

"Really?" I nodded.

"Yeah."

"Do you have another guy in mind?" She asked, a silly grin on her face.

I didn't answer. I know it's probably early but Fitz was a much better friend than Andrew was a boyfriend. He helped me with my shirt, took me out, drove me home, walked me to my apartment, something Andrew never did, and got me tea earlier this morning.

"I know you want to say yes," she said in a sing-song voice. I did. She smirked.

"Because you're not answering, I'm assuming that's a yes." I nodded.

"YAY!!! Who is it? Wait stupid question. It's obviously Fitz!!"

"Maybe. But only in my dreams. We're too different." Linh started laughing.

"Different? Oh please! You work at the same place, you both seem like you care about your jobs a lot. You guys are kind and care about others' well being. It seems like you guys have a few things in common."

"I guess so. But I'm unsure that'll happen. He's The Fitz Vacker, and I'm just me, so I'm not getting my hopes up." She shrugged.

"If you say so."
