It's been a while since Fitz had proposed and we were much better organized with the wedding preparations. We sent out invites, picked out a venue, decorations, clothes, and food and desserts. We made our way to Dex's parents house where we were going to ask the triplets if they wanted to be the flower girl and ring bearers in the wedding.

We knocked on the door hearing a lot of yelling from inside the house. And to our surprise Dex answered.

"Oh Sophie, Fitz. Didn't know you were coming. Come on in." He said, letting us in.

"Didn't know you were going to be here. Your parents didn't tell you?" Fitz asked and Dex shook his head.

"Nope." I saw Dex's parents come in the room and we greeted them with hugs. Kesler and Juline led us to the living room and the triplets ran to us.

"Sophie!" The three of them ran to hug me, smiling.

"Let her breathe, kids!" I laugh as they smile.

"Hi Fitz!" They went to suffocate Fitz and I saw Dex laugh.

"Let him breathe too!" Kesler said. They quickly got off him and took a seat.

"So why did you come here?" Lex asked bluntly. Juline sighed at her son and Kesler chuckled.

"We have really big questions to ask you three." Fitz answered.

"Bex, how would you like to be the flower girl for the wedding?" A big smile reached her face and started to jump up and down.

"Really? I get to be the flower girl?!" I nodded my head.

"That would be amazing! Thank you so much." She hugged me and I smiled at her excitement.

"Thank you for accepting. I'm glad you'll be the flower girl." We broke apart and she went back to her seat, her smile not disappearing.

"Lex and Rex, I would like you two to be the ring bearers." They looked at each other and grimaced.

"Can I just do it?" Lex asked.

"Why you? I should do it by myself if anyone."

"But that wouldn't be fair."

"It wouldn't be fair if you got to do it by yourself too!" Lex stuck his tongue out at him and Juline sighed at her sons. Rex returned it and they both crossed their arms across their chests.

"Okay then we can split up the task. Rex I would like you to keep the ring safe until the wedding, which is a really big responsibility, and Lex, I would like you to walk the ring down the aisle during the wedding." Fitz answered. Dex, Kesler, and Juline's eyes widened at the huge task.

"Fitz, are you sure you want to do that?" Dex asked.

"I wouldn't say the triplets are very responsible with anything really." Rex gasped in surprise.

"I can do it! I'll prove you all wrong." Rex denied.

"Okay, then I'll give you the ring next week. From then, you have to keep it safe for a full month. Can you do that?" Rex nodded, and Fitz smiled. "Thank you, I know you can do it." Rex smiled at the encouraging comment, and stuck his tongue out at Lex.

"I get a more important job than you," he sang and Lex rolled his eyes.

"Well if you end up losing it, which you will, you're going to ruin the whole wedding. So you may have an important job, but you have more pressure and responsibility than me." Rex stayed silent, as if doubting himself. He shook his head.

"I'm going to prove you all wrong, just you wait." Rex denied. For the next two hours, we stayed at their house, talking a bit about the wedding and caught up a bit.

When we entered the car Fitz sighed.

"I didn't make a mistake right? I was originally going to give it to Tam but I didn't want to make one of the triplets feel left out and it was the first thing that popped into my head."

"Well the triplets are kind of reckless, but I'd still have faith in them. And I think it's sweet that you gave both of the triplets a job to do." I leaned over and kissed him, my hand going to his cheek. Truth be told, doing all the wedding planning had somewhat distanced me from Fitz. A lot of our conversations were just about the wedding, not giving us time to actually talk with each other, which I miss. And we'd barely have time to be with each other, and this is the first kiss I shared with Fitz in a while.

"I don't know I survived without your kisses for more than a day," Fitz whispered, earning a small giggle from me. I kissed him again, breaking apart shortly after.

"Me neither." We shared a couple more smaller kisses before we stayed in silence in the car.

"I want to take you on a date tomorrow." He said.

"That'd be great, we really need some time together. Without the wedding and all." He nodded.

"Yeah, we've been so caught up with the wedding we forgot about each other. So I plan on treating you to a nice date tomorrow." I smiled, grabbing his hand.

"That sounds wonderful darling, thank you." He placed a kiss on my neck, which I giggled at and he kissed the back of my hand.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"So how's work been going?" I asked.

"It's been going well, I have some big important meeting tomorrow talking about finance and marketing," he answered.

"That's good." We continued to talk while Fitz started to head to his apartment where we were sooner welcomed by Lilia. I picked her up, laughing at the happy dog, petting her.

"Why do I feel like you love her more than me?" I roll my eyes playfully and sit on the couch with Lilia on my lap, who cuddled to me, resting.

"Can I be next?" Fitz said, looking at the small dog.

"She was just starting to get comfortable." He chuckled, wrapping an arm around my waist as I rested my head on his bicep.

"What are we doing for our date later?" I ask him.

"I have no idea yet, but it'll be great."

"I have no doubt about it." He kissed the top of my head.

(Time Skip)

Fitz and I came home after a wonderful dinner together, collapsing on the couch. Fitz started to undo his tie and take off his jacket resting it on the armrest of the couch. Lilia was asleep in her little bed and the house was silent.

"I had a wonderful time," Fitz smiled, kissing me.

"I did too." I laid my head on his lap, feeling my eyelids starting to become far too heavy for me to keep open.

And then I fell asleep.
