(Day of the wedding!)

Rex's POV

It was chaotic in my house, and I was about to make it even worse. I was taking care of the ring for the full month and I was really proud of myself, until I found out yesterday that it wasn't there. I should've told my mom yesterday but it had slipped my mind, but now I'm really screwed.

"Mom?" I ask, playing with my fingers nervously.

"Yes Rex?" She said, busy with putting things in her purse.

"Don't get mad at me but I may have sorta kinda maybe lost the ring?" Her head shot up, her eyes widened.

"Rex, please tell me you're joking." I shook my head. "Oh this is terrible. And 10 minutes before we're supposed to be there too! Rex, when was the last time you saw it?"

"Two days ago."

"Didn't you see it gone yesterday?" She asked.

"Yes?"

"And you didn't say anything? Rex, that's Fitz's ring! He's planning on using it today! So get your siblings and look for it together." I nodded my head and gathered Bex and Lex to help me look for the ring. The three of us looked for the ring all around the house, and I was glad to hear Lex say "found it!" Surprisingly he was in Bex's room when he found it.

"Bex, why is it in here?" I ask.

"Because I may have used it?"

"Bex, that ring is for Sophie, not you." I say, taking the ring from Lex and placing it in the box.

"I know, but it looked so pretty that I couldn't resist. I was going to put it back but then I got distracted and I totally forgot to put it back. I'm really sorry."

"It's okay Bex, as long as we have the ring now, and Fitz and Sophie never hear about this, I forgive you." She smiled. Mom entered the room and smiled at the ring box in my hand.

"Thank god you found it. Thank you for looking, and Rex I'm very proud of you. You kept that ring safe for a very long time, and you were very determined to keep it." I smiled, hugging her.

"Thank you." She kissed the top of my head and rubbed my back before she led us all out of the house and into the car.

As dad started driving, I smiled to myself. I kept the ring hidden safely for the whole month, even when no one thought I could.

Fitz's POV

Everyone was all over the place, fixing up the smallest of things before the wedding started. We still didn't have a ring yet and I was pacing all around the place.

"Fitzer, relax. You'll get the ring soon, stop making everyone else nervous." I sighed.

"How can I relax when I could end up with no ring to present to Sophie at the altar. And the wedding starts in only a few minutes!" I said, continuing to pace around, also repeating my vows.

The door dramatically opened, and Rex, Lex, and Kesler entered the room.

"I have it!" I smile, going up to Rex.

"Thank you Rex, I have no idea what I wouldn't have done without it. And good job out protecting it, I'm sorry I underestimated you." Rex shook his head.

"No problem, now get on the altar and marry Sophie." I smile, handing the ring box to my father to place on the cushion Lex will walk down the aisle.

Once everything and everyone was settled, the ceremony was about to begin.

The guests sat down in their seats and my mother walked me down the aisle, placing a kiss on my cheek before I stood on the altar.

Bex entered the room, throwing rose petals across the floor, and took a seat next to her mom after she made her way down the aisle.
