I was now getting ready to meet Fitz's parents, who he claimed all week to be really kind, also stating that they'll love me because I was continuing to say how worried I was that they weren't going to like me. I headed out of my apartment and through the elevators I went outside finding Fitz's car parked. I went inside the car, buckling my seatbelt.

"Hey."

"Hey." He said, his eyes glued to his phone.

"What are you looking at?"

"I have a few files I have to complete at work, and Stacy's has a missing report that has to be finished by tomorrow, and I've already given her extra time to complete it." He answered, turning off his phone and putting it in his pocket. "How was your day?"

"Just fine, how about you?"

"Better now I saw you." I rolled my eyes, a playful smile grew on my face. "But when I was leaving my apartment I was bombarded with paparazzi. It's surprising how I even managed to make it to my car. They were taking a lot of pictures and asking a ton of questions. It was so annoying." He laid back on his seat, running his hand through his hair.

"Sounds like it."

"Aside from that, how would you like to accompany me to a brunch date tomorrow?" He asked. I smiled, nodding my head.

"I would love to. And we wouldn't be disturbed by paparazzi would we?" He sighed in response.

"I want to say yes but I can't. A lot of times they'll follow you wherever to get pictures or dig for new information. They don't have any limitations." He answered.

"So we can't have any public nor private dates?" I ask him.

"I guess not. But we'll try, tomorrow I'm hoping we don't bump into any paparazzi." I nodded in agreement. "But for now we need to start heading over to my parents." It was a pretty silent drive although when we started to pull up to the house. Wow.

I'm pretty sure it had passed the expectation of a house. It was a full mansion. It had two large gates which opened when you pulled up and a whole curved parkway with a garage on the right side. It was a regular black and white color although the architecture looked very nice and elegant. Fitz parked the car and we soon headed up the large staircase which led to the two front doors. Fitz rung the doorbell and a lady, wearing a nice sundress with long brown hair that reached past her shoulders and cobalt blue eyes.

She smiled warmly at us and went to hug her son.

"Oh Fitz, I've missed you! You barely visit anymore." Fitz chuckled at his mother and hugged her back.

"Sorry mom, I'll try to visit more often." They soon broke apart and she wrapped me in a warm hug.

"Oh Sophie you're as beautiful as Fitz described you. It's wonderful to finally meet you." She said, soon breaking apart.

"Me too Ms. Vacker, Fitz has been talking about you a lot. I love your dress."

"Thank you dear, and please call me Della. Come on in." We entered the large mansion finding the house all divided up into different rooms and such. On the left there was a very nice living room with a chandelier hanging from above, a glass coffee table set in the center with a circular couch. On the right was a small reading section with several lamps and many bookshelves to read from. There were comfy chairs to sit on and another staircase led upstairs. There was another hallway that went beside the staircase, past the reading room so I assumed it led to the kitchen.

Della led us to the living room and we all took seats. She excused herself for a second and came back with a tray of drinks of water and lemonade. I soon saw a man, who looked very much like Fitz, he had chocolate brown hair that was gelled back and bright teal eyes. He looked very tall, although Fitz seemed probably even taller than him.

Fitz stood up to go hug his dad and I had been correct. Fitz was taller than his father and after a few more seconds in their hug they broke apart and took a seat.

Alden sat down next to his wife with a smile on his face, placing a kiss on her cheek, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"So how have you two been?" Della asked.

"Fine thank you, how about you two?" I ask.

"Very well. So how long have you two been dating for?" Alden asked.

"It's been a month now." Fitz answered lacing his fingers through mine. Della smiled a sappy smile, one like Edaline would make.

"I just remembered. The baby photos! I'll be right back." She stood up and Fitz immediately started to complain, asking for her to return and that it wasn't necessary. Della soon came back with a ginormous book in her hand, taking a seat next to me.

Fitz's cheeks turned red.

"Mom, do you really have to?" She nodded her head.

"Absolutely. I think Sophie deserves to see how you looked when you were a baby. And you were so cute." Fitz groaned and Alden chuckled in response.

"How about you and I go outside? We'll let them stay here." Fitz nodded, and the two made their way to the entrance of the door and we soon heard the doors close.

"This picture was when he was 3 months old, and he was such a chubby baby. But he was so cute." She said. "And in this one was right after he said his first word." She continued to point out to Fitz's photo, naming all of the memories that went along with them. Fitz had been quite a chubby baby although as he got older he wasn't anymore. He started to get much better looking, and by the look of it, stronger. She was almost at the end of the book revealing the last photo of Biana on Fitz's back, their parents posing next to them with smiles on their faces.

"Fitz was a cute baby." Della nodded.

"Yeah, chunky too but that's what made him so special." I giggle and soon hear the two of them enter the house.

"Went through it all?" Fitz asked. I nodded.

"Very cute baby by the way." His cheeks turned red at that, running a hand through his hair. For the rest of the time spent with them we mostly just talked and stayed over to have dinner. Afterwards we started to head out, saying bye and good night's. We went down the stairs and headed down to the car.

"Your parents are great." He smiled.

"I think so too. But I don't know why I hadn't expected my mother to pull out the baby book." He sighed resting against the seat.

"But I think you were a cute baby." He chuckled.

"Are you spending the night?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm really tired."

"Great." He started to head over to his house and after quickly getting ready for bed. The second our heads hit the pillows, we fell right asleep.
