Business Partners (Sophitz)

Chapter 9

Sophie's POV

Biana started this week and I was glad to know I had got another friend at the workplace. She was very pretty, and I noticed a lot of the guys were hitting on her, which I felt was really awkward for her.

I just saved her from another guy and we both took a seat at a table with our lunch trays.

"Thank you Sophie. I don't know what I would do without your help. It's so creepy when they approach me and hit on me. Especially Andrew."

"Yeah he's an asshole. They all are." Biana nodded in agreement.

"You know Andrew or something?" I nodded.

"He's my ex boyfriend. Don't regret breaking up with him at all. He's such a creep too. He was hitting on another girls while dating me and now is dating another girl and he's hitting on you." She grimaced.

"He does sound like a creep. Who's he dating know?" She asked, taking a bit of her salad.

"Stacy. And if they're bothering you to a point where it gets so out of hand, just tell Fitz. He'll threaten the shit out of them." She nodded.

"And it's weird because I'm also dating someone too."

"Who?"

"Well obviously he doesn't work here, but his name is Tam. He's so sweet and kind." I chuckle.

"I have a friend named Tam. Is his last name Song?" Her eyes widened and nodded.

"Oh. Black hair, sliver bangs?" She nodded again.

"Oh wow. I didn't know he was dating someone." Then I remembered what Dex had told me the other day. 'He's been happy lately. And he's been dressing up fancily at night and not coming home until early morning.'

"So you know him?" I nodded.

"Yeah, he's roommate with my cousin, and I live in the same apartment building as his sister."

"Wow, maybe we could all hang out one day. Ooh I could maybe bring my brother-" she stopped mid sentence.

"What's wrong?" I ask. She shook her head and continued to eat her food.

"Nothing. Forget I said something, but it would be fun if we all hung out though."

"Why not your brother?" She stayed silent. She sighed.

"Ok look, Im not supposed to be saying this but I trust you to tell no one. Please?" I nod. She held out her pinky. "Pinky promise?" I laugh and put my finger against hers. "Ok," her voice was now in a hushed whisper, "my brother's Fitz."

"Wait, this Fitz? Our boss Fitz?" She nodded. "No wonder the two of you did look similar. Why didn't you say anything sooner?"

"Well Fitz didn't want me to say anything in case everybody thought he was going easier on me than the rest of them."

"No wonder you didn't greet me with your last name when we met." She nodded.

"Yeah."

"Uhm I have a question." She nodded.

"Does Fitz  have a girlfriend?" She shook her head.

"No." I remember when I found the tube of lip gloss in his car.

"Did you perhaps lose your lip gloss in his car?" She thought for a moment.

"So that's where I left it! Silly me." I laugh. "So do you have a crush on Fitz?"

"Well I don't think I should say it to his sister."

"So you do?" My cheeks turned red. I nodded slowly.
