We walk towards the entrance before we hit the button, essentially ringing the doorbell before the camera responds, "How was the drive from Istanbul?" It asks
"Countersign?" Coulson asks
"No clue" Garrett says
"Never heard it" Ward says
"I can't find it in any of SHIELD's protocol directives" Fitz says
"Great" I whisper
"This is Agent Coulson with SHIELD we don't know the counter but we have a team member in dire need of medical assistance. We know she can be treated here. Open the doors, maybe we can work something out. Do you copy?" Coulson explains
"How was the drive from Istanbul?" It asks again
"We're looking for medical assistance. A person's life is at stake. Will you help us?" Coulson asks again
"How was the drive from Istanbul?" It asks again
"Oh for fucks sake" I say
"Pretty please it is" Garrett says
Ward shoots out the camera before Fitz gets us inside. We make out way through before we get to an elevator. Fitz sends a camera down so we can see as we are standing on top of it, "There's an antechamber and a set of glass doors. Can't see much beyond that. Lights are all out" Fitz says
"Well, they know we're coming. Let's go say hello" Coulson says
Ward and I drop down first, weapons drawn, "Clear!" We yell up
They drop down, "Comms are down. There's too much mountain on top of us" Fitz says as he drops down
"Trust me, it's better. You don't want them hearing the horrible death we're walking into" He looks back at Fitz, "Humor, son. You Brits are too serious. Besides, if the job was easy..." Garrett says
"It wouldn't be any fun" Ward says
"I'm not afraid. Not yet" Fitz walks past us, "I suspect the real danger won't happen until we breath that bulletproof glass" We follow him, "Probably a stairwell back to the surface" He says
"What do you think, Fitz? Can you get us inside?" Coulson asks
"To certain, horrible death? Absolutely" He works on the door, "Okay, so just say the word" He says
"Once we get inside, everybody find cover. All right, guys, here we go" Coulson says
Then the door open and we walk in before finding cover. Then the shooting starts, "We've come for medical assistance, but if you continue firing on us, we will defend—" More gunfire cuts Coulson off
"I count two hostiles" Ward says
"Copy that. Ready?" Garrett asks before they stand up and start shooting
I stand and shoot a few before kneeling back down, "You got one of those little flash things?" Coulson asks Fitz
"Yeah" Fitz says handing him one
Coulson looks at Ward before he throws it, "Ward!" Coulson yells
Ward slides before taking out the soldier before Garrett takes out his, "Clear!" Garrett yells
"See if you can get some lights on" Coulson tells Fitz
"Yeah" Fitz says
Coulson and I stand up before walking over towards Ward, "Clear! We're not done. This one's hit. Shouldn't be too hard to find" Ward says
Coulson, Ward, and I follow the trail of blood before we find the soldier, on the ground, bleeding out, "We're gonna get you medical help. If anyone else down here? Where are the doctors?" Coulson asks, taking his keys
