Skye, Coulson, and I still have May cornered, our weapons pointed at her, "Drop the weapon!" Coulson tells May
"Coulson..." May says
"Drop the damn weapon and kick it over to the stairs, May. Now! Now!" He orders
She does what she says as he comes down the stairs, "Now back the hell up. Over there" Skye and I walk out so we are in front of the lab doors, our weapons still on May as Coulson stands next to us, "Talk. Tell us where you rerouted the plane" Coulson says
"I didn't set this new course. I swear!" May says
"Don't lie to me!" Coulson says
"The plane just turned around for God's sake!" Fitz says
"How is this happening then?" Skye asks
"HQ can override automated control of the avionics. Take us anywhere they want. ;et me check the instrument panel and I'll be able to—" Fitz cuts her off, "No way!"
"You're not going anywhere till you explain what—" May cuts Coulson off, "It's not me!"
"Why did you have an encrypted hardline?" Coulson asks
"And tried to shoot me when we found it!" Fitz says
"Let's take a breath..." May says
"Let's not!" Coulson says stepping forward
"It was a dedicated channel to Director Fury. That's the truth" May says
"Director Fury? I haven't been able to get him on the line for weeks" Coulson says
"You were reporting to him?" Skye asks
"That's all I can tell you" May says
"Oh, just come out with it!" Fitz says
"That's all you can tell us?" Coulson asks
"I'm under orders. Fury will tell you" May says
"Orders my ass, just tell us for fucks sake" I say getting annoyed
"What, was this an order? To shoot me in the bloody head?" Fitz asks
"Hold on. We're not headed to Fury anymore" Coulson says
"I don't know where we're headed. And I can't get Fury on the line because Fitz cut the line" May says
"Skye told me to" Fitz says
"Someone was talking to the Clairvoyant, the real Clairvoyant" Skye says
"You were in the walls, Fitz. You wanna explain why you were tampering with the plane's sat cables?" May asks
"Sure, because that's relevant. Don't try and turn this around on me!" Fitz says
Coulson looks at Fitz, "Fitz..." Coulson says
Skye and I stay focused on May, "I was trying to speak to Simmons at the Hub" He says
"You needed an encrypted line? What's so secret that—" Fitz cuts Coulson off, "You tell me! Simmons and I know you two have been whispering, keeping things from us about the drug that saved your life. Simmons is just trying to figure out how the whole thing works!" He yells
"Fitz, who is she talking to?" May asks
Coulson walks to the door, "Fitz, open the door" Coulson says
"No way. Not until we sort this out. I'm not opening anything" Fitz says
"Open the door. We can't get anything sorted out until you open the damn door. Skye get your laptop hooked up to our systems. See if you can pull up any SHIELD communications. I wanna know where this plane is headed and why" Coulson orders
"Coulson..." May starts
"You stay put!" Coulson looks at May, "King go with Skye" He orders
I nod my head before we both head to the lab door. WE give Fitz a look before he opens the door, "Now tell me who Simmons is talking to? Cause if it isn't someone we trust, she's in serious danger" Coulson says
Skye has been working, trying to find some answers, "What do you mean, noise?" Coulson asks
"I mean literally, noise. Across every SHIELD communication channel. Some sort of blanket signal" Skye says
"Encoded data, maybe?" Fitz suggests
"I think so" Skye says
"You wanna fill us in? We root you out, a mole, suddenly our plane shuts down, our communications jammed" Coulson says
"I don't know what's happening, I wish I did. You have to believe me" May says
"No, I don't" Coulson says
"Do you read, 616?" We hear
"Where is that coming from?" Fitz asks
"Close" Skye says
"Enemy aircraft on my tail! Over" We hear
"Garrett?" Coulson asks
"Coulson, I'm under attack. Drones. Repeat, SHIELD drones are on my ass. We're not getting along. Do you copy?" He asks
"Copy. Garrett, what's happening? We've lost control of our aircraft" Coulson says
"Hell if I know. Tell me you got guns on that thing. I'm coming to you!" Garrett says
Then Coulson shoots May with an icer, "Fitz, can you manually wire the guns to weapons control? Bypass our system?" He asks
"If I have cables long enough, yes" Fitz says
"Skye, decode the signal. We need to get ahead of this. I don't want anymore surprises today. King you're with me" Coulson orders
I handcuff May before Coulson and I drag her body up into the interrogation room where Ward is being held, "What happened?" He asks
"She's a sleeper. I mean, the other kind of sleeper" Coulson says as we place her down
"Wait, what are you saying?" Ward asks
"She's been reporting on us this whole time" Coulson tells him before we shut the door
Coulson orders me to head to the command center with Skye as he helps Garrett. Skye continues to decode the message and I stand guard before Coulson and Fitz walk in, "It's a simple message repeated, semantic encoding. I needed to find the mnemonic key. It should only tea meme a minute more to decipher" Skye says
Garrett walks in, "Can I ask the obvious question? What the hell?" Garrett asks
"We don't know. We don't even know where our plane is headed" Coulson says
"I saw your trajectory. You're being tractor-beamed straight to the Hub. Those drones were landed out of there, for sure" Garrett tells us
"Victoria Hand" Coulson says
"Hand? It can't be" Fitz says
"Can't be what now?" Garrett asks
"The Clairvoyant" Skye says
"I thought Ward capped that guy" Garrett says
"I don't believe the man Ward killed was The Clairvoyant. I think he was an unwitting decoy meant to end our investigation" Coulson says
"That's a lot of trouble to go through for a red herring, don't you think?" Garrett asks
"Because the Clairvoyant is a SHIELD agent. Using high level clearance to stay ahead of us, make it seem like she's got psychic abilities" Coulson explains
"She? You think Victoria Hand's the Clairvoyant?" He scoffs, "I don't mean to pee in the punch bowl, but that doesn't make a lot of sense. I was stationed with Vic is Lisbon. She's a hard ass and a buzzkill at parties, I grant you, but you really think she's capable of that?" Garrett asks
"Excuse me, didn't she just try to blow you out of the sky?" Coulson asks
"Don't get me wrong, she's definitely gone nuts, but her actions prove she's not the Clairvoyant, right? I mean, if she's been hiding in plain sight all this time, why reveal herself now?" Garrett asks
"Guys..." Skye says
We look at the screen, "Out of the shadows, into the light" Cousin reads
We watch as the last word is decoded, "Well, I'll be..." Garrett whispers
We all stare at the screen that reads, HYDRA, "Hydra? You've got to be fucking kidding me" I whisper
