[Later On - Take A Guess]

Simmons came back and is telling us about her encounter with Raina while we get our blood drawn, "Thank goodness nothing bad happened to the two of you. Wouldn't want you to have to stay in there forever" We stand up once the agent is down and walk towards the glass, "Raina, she was unrecognizable. It was insane. And not just from the outside, look" She walks over to the microscope, "We separated her DNA and mapped it using Gel Electrophoresis" She turns the computer screen, "Her DNA didn't just rearrange, it contains extra macromolecules. I wouldn't think that even possible" Simmons explains

"That's amazing" Skye says

"It's horrific. We need to make sure that you're not contaminated or infected in any way" Simmons says
"What's the worst that could happen?" I ask
"An epidemic" Simmons says

"That's a pretty harsh conclusion" Skye says

"And I feel responsible" Simmons says

"We all do. There's nothing you could have done" Skye says

"Yes, there was! I was so curious about powers. About unearthly biology. Wondering where it might lead. Hoping to better understand it. Control it. I should have been trying to terminate it. Erase it from existence" Simmons says

"What?" Skye and I both ask

"You've helped plenty of people with powers. It's part of the world that we live in" Skye says

"It's a plague, Skye" She walks closer, "All of it. It only ever brings us death. Donnie Gill, Chan Ho Yin, Creel, the list keeps growing" Simmons says
"Not the Avengers. They haven't been..." Skye says

"The Avengers wouldn't have bene necessary if we hadn't unleashed alien horrors!" Simmons says

"There must be another..." Skye says
"Trip was in fragments!" Simmons says, her eyes filled with tears

"I know" Skye and I say

"Well, it ends with him. Flooding that alien city may have been the first responsible thing I've done to protect the people I care about" Skye and I nod our heads, "I'll check these samples, and compare them to samples of your blood we have from before. Just to be safe" Simmons tells us

"Okay" Skye and I say

"Just to be safe" Simmons says as she walks away

I look to Skye, "This isn't good, is it?" I whisper as she shakes her head

[Later On - You Should Know By Now]

We're laying on the bed, Skye is listening to music on the headphones with her eyes closed while I'm trying to catch up on some sleep. For. Amount, I was peaceful until I felt her jab me in my side. I opened my eyes to see Fitz standing outside. Skye and I stand up, "Hey, Fitz" His head snaps up, looking at us, "What's wrong?" Skye asks

"Can you tell me?" He's holding our watches, "I fixed your biometric watches. Checked your vitals at the time of the temple collapse" He puts his hands on his hips, "You're heart rate was recorded at almost 300 bpm, Skye" He looks at me, "And Cassie,

your—your body temperature was 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit" He says

"That's very fast" Skye says as I say, "That's extremely hot"

"No. That's inhuman" Skye and I start to panic, "I thought the readings were a mistake, that I put the thing together wrong" Skye and I sit on the bed, "I've been struggling to...Um...something's wrong with the data in my head" He says
"What are you saying?" Skye asks

Fitz paces, "So I was thinking how the heart monitor seemed to shatter from the inside out and the thermometer to melt. But they were still on your wrists when we found you. That doesn't make sense. And how we found you, basically unharmed in the collapse, with destruction all around you. The rubble which also had scorch marks that made no sense" Things start to shake around us as I start to feel hot again, "I thought I was losing my mind all over again. That there was something wrong. So it took a while to dawn on me. Or maybe I was afraid to think it. That you two survived the destruction, because you two caused it" He says, looking at us with tears
