[The Playground - Gym]
Skye and May are sparring while I'm lifting some weights in the corner, trying to keep my strength up and not focus on the fact that I'm not entirely human anymore. Skye got May flipped on the ground. Before standing up as I re-rack the weights, "Not bad. But once I'm pinned, you should try for a finishing blow" May tells her, standing up
Skye has her hands on her knees, breathing heavily, "You want full Mortal Kombat?" Skye asks
"I want you to stop holding back, Skye" May says
"I didn't wanna hurt you" May gives her a look, "I didn't wanna try to hurt you. I feel like I'm constantly on the verge of..." She looks at me, "I don't know" Skye says
"Look, we lost Trip, and it hurts like hell. But you can't shut those feelings out. Can't sustain that" May tells her
"Well, what's my option? I just lose it right here?" Skye asks
"We've talked about this. Control. Embrace your emotions, your nerves. Use them. On your terms" May tells her
"I don't know" She sighs, "What I'm feeling is pretty dark. I'm afraid I'm gonna go postal and tear your head off" Skye says
"Go for it. I promise you won't" May says
"Maybe Skye needs a break" Fitz says and we see him leaning against the machine
"Training is not a group activity" May tells him
"Yeah. I just came down to have...Uh, see what it's about" Fitz says
"I'll tell you what, Fitz. Come back in an hour. I'd be happy to show you what it's all about" May tells him
"I'm fine, Fitz. Really" He looks at me and I nod. My head, silently telling him that I got it before he walks out, "It would be pretty funny to see you and Fitz go at..." May goes to punch her but Skye blocks it, "Okay, I guess we're back on" Skye says
"And not holding back" May tells her as they continue sparring
[Bus]
So we got information about a fight that apparently drew Coulson's attention because we headed to the site rather quickly. When Coulson went out to ask questions, he found Lady Sif who's memory is wiped. Skye, Fitz, Simmons, Coulson, Lady Sif, and I are on the bus at the command center after we found some more videos of the fight.
"We found a couple of other videos of the fight, and we've been analyzing them frame by frame, which..." Simmons says
"Which didn't get us much in the way of, um..." Fitz says
"Of anything new" Simmons says
"Yeah, thanks. Um, until we get to here" Fitz says, zooming in
"I do very much enjoy that part" Lady Sif says
"So he's wearing something mechanical. And she nailed it" Fitz says
"And there's more" Simmons says, zooming in
We look at the image, "What is that?" Coulson asks
"Blood?" Skye asks
"I hope so. It could give us a lead" Simmons says
"Well, there's no way to know from the video" Fitz says
"Once we land, Fitz you go with Hunter and Mack, handle forensics" Coulson looks at Skye and I, "I need you two and Bobbi to talk to witnesses in the area, see if we can track down where this guy went" He tells us
Fitz goes to walk out as Simmons stands in front, "Sir, the science division had loaded the team with heavier suppression artillery. After Raina's vanishing act, we advice that when you find this man, you contain him first, ask questions later. New ICERs are still in development" Simmons says
"Very good. Keep me posted" Coulson says
