Miranda rounded on her patients. It had been a few weeks since Ben went back home and he was already talking about coming back for a visit. She had discussed visiting him but their schedules just hadn't aligned in these weeks. Everyone noticed a pep in Miranda's step but dared not bring it up. Despite being a pediatric surgeon she was pretty scary. However, her friends did not fear the Bailey Bite.
"Someone got laid by a hot LA surgeon and won't tell her best friend about it" Callie teased her once she spotted her in the hall
"Torres, I had three dates with the man in one week before he left for a different state. What makes you think I got laid"
"You got that got laid glow" She laughed "when he texts your phone you get all happy and that's more than you just had a good date"
"Hey, you're still meeting us at the photographer's place for our photo shoot" Arizona walked up
"What photoshoot" Miranda asked
"Ooo, Auntie Miranda you did not forget Sofia's photo shoot did you" Arizona shook her head
"No, but remind me again"
"We're doing a photo shoot tonight. Us, Mark, Tuck, and you" Callie put her hand on her hip "You get laid and forget your family. You literally slept on my couch during your fellowship"
"What does this have to do with her fellowship" Arizona questioned
"You wanted her in peds so bad we devoted our work and personal lives to ensuring her success and now that she's getting laid. She's tossed us aside"
"You're getting laid" Arizona nudged her
"She got some from hot LA doctor" Callie laughed
"What about hot LA Doctor" Mark walked over
"Nope. Not doing this" Miranda walked away
"She totally got some before he left" Callie laughed
"Go Bailey" Mark smirked
Miranda checked her calendar and sure enough, she had the photo shoot in her calendar. How could she forget that? They were a family. Callie was right. She texted Ben about forgetting about the photo shoot of course he found a way to make her feel better. She stood in the hall smiling at her phone.
"Is that what Robbins fought me to keep you for" Richard walked up behind her "Stand around on your phone"
"Sir" She put her phone away
"Got any surgeries today" He smiled
"Uhh nope and just rounded on my patients for the day do you need a consult" She smiled
"I was wondering if you were free for a quick trip to general"
"Dr.Webber are you still trying to take my surgeon from me" Arizona walked up
"Who me never" He chuckled
"Sir, I will forever be grateful for what I learned in general surgery. I use my knowledge almost every day"
"Right especially when you were pulling a Lego out of a kid's nose"
"Hey that could've gone south quickly and you know it"
"Go do a lap chole or something I need my pediatric surgeon" Arizona flagged him off.
"A ped's consult is needed in the Pit" Miranda checked her pager. She and Arizona made their way down there.
Meredith flagged them over
"I have a little boy here complaining of tummy issues" Grey looked at the boy.
"Oh that's no good" Bailey looked at the boy as he wiggled in pain
