A baby. What was Miranda going to do with a baby? One time. She had sex with this man one time. Well, technically it was multiple times one night but still. She had talked on the phone with him multiple times since finding out but the words I'm pregnant never seemed to leave her mouth. How was she going to say this to him? Hey remember the night of passion we had weeks ago well we're having a baby. She sighed and leaned against the nurses' station. Drinking a smoothie

"What are you drinking" Arizona walked up

"A smoothie. Goes well with the trail mix" She shrugged

"Do you have trail mix"

"In my pocket" She nodded

"So have you talked to you know who about you know what" Arizona nudged her

"I have not"

"It's been 2 weeks since we found out. He needs to know"

"I need to process"

"We got a raspberry" Callie walked up

"What's a raspberry" Miranda asked

"Hot LA doctor baby is a raspberry. Does he even know his one night of passion has turned into a lifetime of parenthood"

"You're tracking"

"You're not" Callie asked "Do you even have an OB? Have you had a check-up? Ultrasound? Am I becoming the responsible one here"

"Not doing this" She put her hand up and walked away. Much to her dismay Callie walked with her and tried to whisper to her

"Well, I am doing this. Ben broke your dry spell and so math tells us you got pregnant on or the night before departure day. Ben's sperm has sniper accuracy and locked you down frame one which means you got pregnant two months ago"

"A week after we meet yeah I know" Miranda rolled her eyes trying to get away from her

"Not the point, stay on task here. I'm saying 8 weeks pregnant means 2 months pregnant which means you need to make sure you and little raspberry-sized hot LA doctor baby are healthy"

"Drop it. We can talk later. I am going to watch a surgery in OR 3"

"Richard's surgery"

"What can I say I'm a fan" She laughed but groaned seeing she was being paged to a patient room "Never mind"

"I won't tell my wife you tried to cheat on her" Callie laughed
Miranda disregarded her and walked into the patient's room.

"What's going on" She asked Karev
She looked at the patient. It was the same kid who had legos up their nose

"No" She shook her head "again"

"He swallowed them this time" The mother sighed "I took my eyes off of him just to change the baby's diaper and the next thing I know I saw him swallowing a Lego piece"

"He said he wanted you" Karev handed her the boy's X-rays

"They look like candy but do not taste like candy" The boy shook his head

"And why did you eat them" Alex asked. The boy looked at his hands and ignored Alex's question

"Hey, Karev I got it from here thanks" Miranda smiled. She needed the patient to distract her from her mess.
He nodded and walked out

"The first one was an accident, then I just got bored" He admitted once Alex left the room

"You accidentally swallowed a lego" His mom sighed "That doesn't happen, Ezekiel"
