"Dani please stop crying, we are trying to get the pictures. Just say cheese" Ben sighed "After this, you can spend time with Auntie Callie and Auntie Arizona"
They scheduled their photoshoot and date night for one day after work. However, that meant the kids were restless and weren't cooperating. Dani was crying and Tuck was looking everywhere but the camera.
"Say Cheese" Ben tried to make his daughter smile
"Cheese" Tuck smiled
"Tuck you have to look at the cameraman" Miranda pointed
"Dani isn't" He crossed his arms "I want to leave"
"We'll get some pictures and then we can go" Ben smiled "Okay buddy"
"I say cheese a whole bunch but Mommy says I'm not looking at the right place"
"Because the camera is right there" She pointed "not wherever you are looking"
"I'm looking at Dani, she not saying cheese"
"Daniela Bailey Warren please" Ben bounced her "You've eaten. You're dry. You had a bomb post-milk nap. Dani Bean, why are you fussy"
"We should've done this in the morning" Miranda sighed tired from her day of work
"You guys just want to try another day" The photographer asked
"No, we are good. Just give us a minute" Ben handed Dani to Miranda and pulled out his phone. He searched for a video of hospital sounds on YouTube and turned the volume up. As Dani heard the familiar sounds she calmed down
"Some kids like lullabies ours likes hospital noises" He laughed
"Okay, can you give Mama a smile" Miranda kissed Dani's cheek causing her to giggle
"Ready Tuck say cheese" Ben smiled
"Cheese" Tuck smiled wide
The photographer got family shots, shots of Tuck by himself in his lab coat, shots of Ben and Miranda in their scrubs and lab coats, individual shots of them, and shots of Dani including some with her asleep. They decided to just get a bunch of pictures. The photo shoot took about an hour and a half.
"That's one good-looking family" Callie walked in
"Auntie Callie" Tuck smiled " I'm a doctor"
"I see that wow you look good" She smiled
"Dani cried a lot but we took lots of pictures"
"aww look at her in her little baby scrubs" Arizona waved at Dani "So freaking cute"
"Thank you guys for watching them" Ben smile
"Just know we're expecting you guys to be ready to return the favor" Arizona laughed
"Your kid has like 10 parents" Ben laughed "but I hear you"
"So what's your date plans" Callie asked
"First, change" Ben laughed
"Come on Tuck let's take off our doctor clothes so you can have fun" Miranda took him by the hand
They went to change out of their scrubs and change the kids as well. When they walked back out Miranda handed Callie the kids' bags and Ben handed Dani to Arizona.
"She should be waking up again in like a couple hours but just give her that bottle, change her, and she'll be out like a light" He smiled
"You may have to play hospital sounds. It soothes her. I can't seem to find her favorite blankie. It has stethoscopes and her name on it" Miranda added
