Ben was at work looking through patient charts when Mark approached him. He hadn't heard anything from Richard about a surgical position for him yet aside from he was still working on it. He wondered what Sloan wanted.
"Hello Dr. Sloan" Ben greeted him
"Dr. Warren" He smiled
"Need something"
"You are in"
"I'm in what" Ben was slightly confused
"Plastics, you're in plastics" Mark laughed "Welcome to the plastics posse"
"What, really" Ben smiled
" Yes really, welcome to The Seattle Grace Mercy West Plastics Fellowship" Mark shook his hand
"Wow this is amazing" Ben wanted to jump for joy but he contained himself
"Tomorrow morning we have a big case. See you there. Here" He handed him the files
"Show me what they taught you in LA" He walked away
Ben shook his head in disbelief and went back to looking through charts when yet again he was interrupted. This time by Arizona
"You got the goods" She asked him
He pulled out his phone and showed her a picture of their 38 week ultrasound.
"You guys ready " Arizona smiled
"Hard to think any day now literally she'll be here" Ben chuckled " is anyone ever ready"
"How are you and the mommy to be" She asked
"We're doing good. She's under the impression we've started back over but I already told her once we just picked right back up where we left off when I left for LA. So for me we've been together nine months. For her it has been seven because of those months we weren't talking. But yeah we're in a good place relationship wise. And as parents well she is nesting and I am switching between my place and hers. Thinking of just staying with her for the first month"
"Still practicing abstinence" She laughed
"You're laughing but my mind has never been clearer" He tapped his head "and it has made our bond stronger. It's emotional rather than physical. This is the path we should've taken from the start"
"Is she at home losing her mind currently. You said she is nesting"
"You don't know" He chuckled
"Know what" She asked
"She's in OR 2"
"What" Arizona ran off. Ben just laughed and decided to walk that way too. Arizona arrived briefly before him and ran to the intercom
"What are you doing" She yelled
"Busted" Karev chuckled
"I am doing a surgery" Miranda didn't move her eyes from her work
"And why aren't you home resting and preparing for childbirth"
"Because I am doing surgery"
"Robbins. We're good in here" Alex began to speak
"Shut up Karev"
"Is that anyway to speak to this hardworking young man" Miranda finally looked up "Ben you told on me" she frowned seeing him in the gallery
"She asked and I answered" He walked to the intercom
"Bailey's doing a surgery" Richard walked in
"Bailey is finished with a surgery" She stepped away from the table "Karev close"
