A LITTLE CHANGES
"You really change." He said as he stared at the clouds.
"I didn't change. You just didn't know this part of me. I offered it to you long time ago but you decided to walked away because you feel like you're not a better man for me," I began.
"You walked away because you no longer feel all those sparks that you wanted. You could have meet all of me but no, you decided to run away because you're scared." I bitterly smiled as I continue.
"I thought you're not like them, but I guess I judged you wrong. You proved it to me that some things will not go out the way we wanted. I'm actually grateful we met, you taught me things that I thought I will never had....
I was kinda disappointed, when I tried to be better for our relationship, that I thought we could fix this but I was wrong. However, let's not dwell on the past and focus on our future where we'll be walking on our different paths. Where this time.. I'll walk without you." I uttered. He sighed and replied to me.
"I'm sorry I had to let you go. I'm sorry I wasn't brave enough to climb to your walls. I was a coward, but...... I didn't regret my decision, look at you right now, you become successful and a person who's everybody wants," he whispered. But my heart only wants you. I wanted to say but I couldn't.
I already expected to get hurt, maybe I always knew this wasn't gonna last. The inconvenient truth is; You can't force someone into loving you back.
In the end, the same armor that protected me, the one I wanted to wear for a long time, was too heavy and ended up hurting me.
