olivia took a deep breath and walked outside. she saw all of the boys and parker running around outside, and george and katherine were by the grill.

"do you guys need any help with supper?" olivia walked up to them and asked. "no, that's ok hon, you can go take a seat if you'd like," katherine put a hand on olivia's shoulder and smiled. "ok," olivia smiled as she walked down the porch steps.

she took a seat at the end of the picnic table, watching the kids play. she felt a little uncomfortable and out of place, almost like she was intruding.

isaac took notice of the girl sitting alone and left his brother and cousins to go sit with her. "mind if i sit?" he asked, causing her to turn around. "oh, no, not at all. go ahead," she smiled at him.

they sat quietly for a second before isaac spoke up, concern evident in his voice. "hey, are you okay? you just seem really quiet." olivia paused for a moment, taking in his genuine concern. "oh yeah, i'm okay. it's just different here, a big change, you know." she offered him a smile.

isaac nodded understandingly. "oh yeah, well liv, if you ever need to talk, i'm always here." as soon as he called her "liv," she felt a strange fluttering sensation in her stomach, like butterflies dancing around.

the two of them continued talking for the next few minutes, getting to know each other better. nathan started bringing out the food, and slowly everyone gathered around to sit. lee sat across from olivia, and they engaged in a short but pleasant conversation. olivia quickly realized that lee was actually pretty nice once you got to know him.

throughout the gathering, olivia mostly stayed quiet, observing the lively interactions happening around her. she would only speak up when someone initiated a conversation with her. as she looked around at the big, close-knit family, she couldn't help but smile at the sight of such warmth and friendliness.

as the sun began to set, casting a warm glow across the yard, nathan, jordan, and danny were busy cleaning up, shuttling back and forth between the kitchen and the yard, tidying everything up.

meanwhile, olivia and isaac found themselves comfortably seated on one of the couches on the porch, enjoying the tranquil moment. they watched as the sun slowly disappeared beyond the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues. lee was kicking a ball around with benny and parker.

olivia and isaac sat shoulder to shoulder, they both casually rested their feet up on a nearby coffee table.

"hey, so?" isaac asked, glancing over at olivia with curiosity. "so what?" she replied, letting out a small laugh. "so, what do you think of this place?" he inquired, interested in her opinion.

olivia's smile widened as she took a moment to appreciate the beauty of their surroundings. "i think it's absolutely stunning out here, and i can see why everyone seems so happy," she replied, her voice filled with admiration.

"do you think you could be happy here?" he asked. olivia pondered for a moment, "well, right now, a lot is happening, but i believe that things will get better in the future," she responded. isaac nodded in agreement,.

they continued their conversation, engrossed in each other's company, asking questions and sharing stories for the next hour. as the sun disappeared, leaving a dark sky, isaac and olivia were the only ones left outside. olivia glanced at her phone and realized it was already 9:34 pm.

"oh shoot, i'm sorry. i should probably go upstairs. i have to get up early tomorrow, and i don't want jackie to spend more time alone," olivia said, sitting up. isaac nodded understandingly, realizing it was getting late for both of them.

"yeah, i should probably head up too," he replied, standing up and offering his hand to help olivia up. isaac opening the porch door for her, they walked together towards her new room.

"so," olivia smiled, turning around to face isaac. "so," he repeated, smiling back at her. "goodnight, isaac," she said softly. "goodnight, liv," he replied with a warm smile, looking her up and down one more time before walking towards his own room.

as isaac's gaze lingered on her, olivia felt a rush of butterflies in her stomach. trying to contain her excitement, she quickly opened her door and slipped into her room, closing it behind her.

jackie looked up from her phone and noticed her sister standing against the door, wearing a big smile. "what's happened to you?" she asked, curious about the sudden change in olivia's demeanor. it only took a second for jackie to realize the reason behind her sister's excitement. "ohh, a boy," she exclaimed, playfully teasing olivia.

"i don't know. i spent the afternoon mostly with isaac, and he's just so nice. oh my god, i'm freaking out," olivia giggled as she sat down on her bed, unable to contain her joy.

after olivia finished talking about her time with isaac, she continued to share details about her afternoon with the walters/garcias.

once olivia finished talking about her day, she got ready for bed. however, as she lay in bed, she found it difficult to fall asleep. the thought of isaac was keeping her mind racing, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. even though she had only just met him, so she wasn't quite sure what she was feeling.

man, boys and feeling are confusing.
