Link opened the door, soaking wet and dripping water over the floor.

"Hi honey," he called, walking to the kitchen. "How do ya'll feel about rice balls?"

"Sure," said Wave, not looking up from his book, a fantasy novel about a world without monsters and weird things called phones instead of Sheika slates.

They sat down at the table .

"How was your monster hunting?" Mipha asked.

"I wish I could have come," Wave sighed.

"Can I have the guts?" Coral asked. They looked at her strangely. "What? I like making potions."

"No, you wouldn't have wanted to come," Link sighed.

"Why not?" Wave asked.

"Well, I was eaten by a Hinox, had to cut my way out. Then I saw a Bokoblin mating ritual, it's there season. Stopped them by killing the male, but the female got loose and I suspect we'll have some baby Bo-Bo's," Link said, lifting a rice ball and stuffing it in his mouth. They finished and Link went to bed early. He floated there for about two hours when Mipha came in.

"The kids are in bed. I know you had a bad day so, want to release some stress?" Mipha purred.

"Sure," Link said. He stood up and walked out of the house. He came back an hour later with a pillow. He lay on the ground next to the pool, and put his face on it. He screamed into it.

"Not what I had on mind, come here my toy," Mipha purred.

"Great goddess, no," Link said. "I'm sleeping on land."

"But could do it up there?" Mipha said, faking her sadness.

"Nope!" Link said, and with that he lay there. Mipha gave him the bird. "My eyes may be closed but I can see that."

Mipha got out of the pool and lay next to him.

"I'm going to sleep by you, and that's final," Mipha said.

Link woke up with a shoulder full of holes.
