A Test of Blades

"Okay Link, you got this."

"It's fine. I won't die."

"And if I do, at least I can taunt Mipha from the heavens."

Link shoved the whole fish in his mouth raw.

"Blech!" Link said, gulping it down.

"Hey dad, I want to fight you!" Wave said. "But I'll be nice and go easy on you."

"I'll show you," Link said. "My new sword is much better!"

"Oh yeah, what's it called?"

"The Ocean King," Link said. "Look at the seaweed green tint!"

Wave held the Master Sword with two hands.

"Going to defeat me with that stance? Hah!" Link said.

"Fight me old man," Wave growled.

"I'm. Still. Thirty. ONE!" Link said. The blades clashed and soon Wave pointed the blade at Link's throat.

"I win."

Ocean King was four feet away from Links outstretched hand. It seemed like it was telling him something. Link nodded. He grabbed the Master sword by the blade and pulled it down and stabbed it into his leg. Wave staggered back in shock. Link grabbed Ocean King and the Master sword and made a x like crossing around Waves neck.

"I can't stand to see my nephew loose to his father," a voice said, and they slashed a sword along Link's back. Link fell over from the pain of all his wounds.

"Ah, Sidon, brother. Do you wish to fight me?" Link panted.

"I do not wish to fight a battle I'm sure to win," Sidon remarked.

"Hey dad, did you notice the Master sword glow blue when you stabbed yourself?" Wave asked.

"Yes. It looks like it chose me again. Would you like Ocean King?" Link smiled.

"No, you will have both swords."
