The Master sword had chosen a new master. Wave. Wave had shown himself pure of heart and a worthy swordsman. Link was bested by him in combat before Wave obtained the sword and Link could feel it's presence change.

"B-But dad, isn't this the strongest blade ever?" Wave teared.

"Look, it glows blue to your touch. When I touch it, it's grey and dull. It chose you," Link said.

"But what will you fight with?" Wave asked.

"A new weapon. I will forge it myself," Link said, walking to Death Mountain. "See you in a couple days."

Link arrived at the volcano dressed in the fireproof gear to see Daruk waiting for him.

"Sup little guy, lost your sword?"Daruk said.

"Yeah, it's my sons now," Link said.

"Well you came to the right place to make a new one!" Daruk cheered. "You have the materials?"

"Yes, but I have a new metal I want in it," Link said.

"What could it be? You have all the rare gems and steel, what else could it be?"

"A new thing, I found it in a new cave," Link said holding out a greenish blue rock. "It feels old and powerful. I want it."

"Okay! What's the handle material again?" Daruk asked.

"Hinox bones," Link said.

"Alright! Lets get to work!"

The sword turned out perfectly. It would be almost unbreakable, no, unbreakable when Link realized he had Ganons bones in his pocket and they put it in with the metal.

"Aren't you worried about the malice in it?" Daruk worried.

"No, I can handle it," Link said, holding the blade. "Thank you bye."

The sword glowed green when Link held it. The handle smooth and gripped. The blade straight and sleek. It was perfect, besides one thing.

He had cut himself when pulling the master sword. It knew it was him from his blood. Link sliced his upper arm with it and grinned.

"A scar from the greatest sword!"
