Link lay on the ground, his head pouring out blood, his lip bleeding, a wrist was broken, and one of his earrings was town off his ear.

He stretched a dying arm into the pouch around his waste, and touched something. As a small glowing light covered him, he breathed steadily, still almost dead. The last thing he remembers was seeing a Rito fly down, and then he blacked out.

Link awoke in his house in Zora's Domain. He lifted his head to see Kodah there.

"I was wondering when you'd wake up," she said smiling. "I brought you some flowers, after saving the world, that's what you deserve."

As she tried to hand Link to red flowers, an image came to his head. The Malice. Ganon. The Calamity. It had burned an image into Links head that something red was evil.

He whimpered as he took the flowers from her, and she pardoned herself, as she had to go back to work. The moment she left, Link threw the flowers away. He felt his head ache, and soon found out it was bandaged. So was his chest and his eyebrow had a patch on it.

He fell asleep again.

This time, he woke up to Mipha healing him. She flashed him a smile.

"Hello," Mipha said in her kind, tender voice. Link saw the red all over her body, and grabbed the thing on his bedstand, which was a travelers sword. He held it up.

"Leave," Link said.

"What?" Mipha said, surprised.

"Go! Leave monster!" Link said.

Mipha, taking it to heart left, crying.

Link set the sword down, and thought about what he just did. Barely able to stand, Link made his way to the door.

"Mipha! Wai-" Link gasped, seeing her red scales again. He tripped over his own feet and soon tumbling down the hill.

When Link landed at Mipha's feet, he looked up, and started crying.

Mipha tried to place a hand on his back, but Link rolled away.

"No, I don't like red, it's scary."
