Again. He's just staring. Does he want to get on my nerves? Does he want to start a fight? I know that I would barely be able to fight him, but if he doesn't stop, then I'll bash his skull in using Leorio's briefcase.
I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to ignore his presence, but it just wouldn't work. That clown is too strong and too annoying for anyone's good.
"Guys..." started Killua, gaining both mine and Gon's attention. "Let's move up." "Okay." I immediately agreed, wanting to get away from Hisoka, as Gon told me his name was.
Gon nodded shortly, saying: "We don't want to lose sight of the examiner." "I'm more concerned with increasing the distance between us and Hisoka. Staying too close to him is dangerous. I can smell it in the air." said Killua.
Looking over at him, I said: "I mean, he is strong. As much as I dislike him, I don't want to anger him." "You don't like him? Why?" asked Gon, to which I replied: "Just a hunch." Accepting my answer, he called out to the other two.
"Kurapika! Leorio! Killua says that we should move up!" I smiled at his easy-going tone, while Killua asked: "Can't you feel the tension surrounding us?" "It'll be fine. This is still child's play, after all." I noted, to which Killua said: "I mean, yeah, but-"
Leorio yelled: "Idiot! If I had the strength, I'd already be there!", cutting Killua off. "Don't worry about us!" added Kurapika, to which Gon asked: "What?" He started falling behind a little, looking back at his friends.
So I took his hand, saying: "Come on, Gon. We have to keep moving." I pulled him with me a little, to which he said: "Alright."

"I hear people screaming all around us." noted Gon, an uneasy expression on his adorable face. Without looking back, Killua said: "Just stay on your guard." "I wonder if Leorio and Kurapika are okay..." (Y/N) said: "I'm sure they're fine. They seem above average, given that they made it this far."
All of a sudden, the ground beneath the three of them fell, and a giant, frog-like creature emerged, trapping them in its mouth. The frog climbed out of the hole, starting to walk away.
Without a warning, the giant frog threw up, causing the trio to now sit on the ground, looking after the strange creature. "Guess he didn't like the taste of us." joked Gon, to which (Y/N) said: "Better for that frog."
"It was this." said Killua, casually holding an opened can up. Gon recognized it immediately, while (Y/N) tilted her head a little, asking: "It doesn't like soda?" "That was from Tonpa!" noted Gon, only confusing her more.
She grabbed the can out of Killua's hand, lifting it to her lips. The boys tried to warn her, but she had already taken the last sip from the can. Staring at her with wide eyes, they waited for her to throw up as well.
"Oh, now I get it. It's been tampered with." she said after a short pause, wiping her mouth with her sleeve. Gon was clearly concerned for his friend, asking: "Are you okay?" "Of course I am. Why shouldn't I be?" she asked back, smiling at him.
"Because you just drank poison?" stated Killua, although it sounded more like a question. Chuckling lightly, she replied: "Oh, that. Yeah, that stuff doesn't work on me." Once again, Killua was surprised by her.
Was she an assassin, just like him? She's physically strong, is immune to poison, and her bloodlust is incredibly dark. But he had never heard of an assassin like her. Maybe she just did her job perfectly.
"I'm still worried about Leorio and Kurapika." said Gon, causing Killua to snap out of his thoughts. "Forget about them. Let's get a move on. We can still catch up to the examiner." he said, starting to run, the other two following after him.
Finally reaching the main group, Killua said: "We made it. We finally caught up with the others." "Uh-oh." said (Y/N), looking around them. She quickly added: "Killua, Gon isn't here." "What? Where did he go?" "Probably went to find Kurapika and Leorio."
After a short moment of silence, she said: "You go on, I'll check on them." Killua looked at her, not saying anything as she began to walk away. "See you later, Killua!" she called, starting to run. He watched as she slowly disappeared into the smog, muttering a quiet: "See you.", before joining the main group.

I stopped in my tracks, my eyes wide. Gon... Tightening my hands into fists, I began to run once more, charging at the tall man that was holding Gon up by his neck.
Readying myself, I quickly moved around the clown, now standing in front of him. He only had a single second to register that I was there before I threw a punch his way, which he tried to block with his free hand.
He slid back, letting go of Gon while he did so. "Gon, you okay?" I asked, not daring to look away from Hisoka. Gon coughed a bit, then said: "Y-Yeah, I'm alright." "Good." I said, starting to attack Hisoka once more.
He had a grin on his face as he dodged my attacks, saying: "You really can pack a punch, Ace of the Colosseum." Hearing this, I saw red. Or rather, I blacked out for a second, the anger I felt too much to handle for a moment.
"(Y/N)!"
I snapped out of my daze, looking over at Gon, who had called my name. I then looked in front of me, meeting eyes with Hisoka. That damned clown had a wide grin on his face as he held his left arm, saying: "You're definitely worthy of that title. You even broke my arm with a single punch, little Ace."
Glaring at him, I spat: "If you have a death wish, then fight me." His expression remained the same as he shook his head, saying: "I'm good for now. I just got told to get back."
He held a phone up, then said: "You can find your own way back, yes?" He went to pick up Leorio, who was passed out. "Of course." I answered shortly, watching as he left just a second later, disappearing in the fog.
I quickly turned around, asking: "Gon, are you really okay?" He was still breathing heavily, looking up at me. I held a hand out towards him, saying: "Here, I'll help you." He took my hand, letting me pull him up.
"(Y/N)... Are you okay?" he slowly asked, a look of concern washing over his features. I smiled a little, feeling as good as ever. "Of course I am. Why?"
He pointed down, to which I followed with my gaze, watching as some blood was staining my partially ripped shorts. "Oh, that's nothing." I reassured him, not even remembering how I got this injury.
"How did it happen?" I asked, ripping one of my sleeves off, then tying it around my thigh, as to stop the bleeding. He answered: "You don't know? It was when you punched Hisoka. The moment you broke his arm, he threw a card with the other, and now... Can you still walk?"
I smiled at him, saying: "I'm fine. Thanks for the concern, though. This is nothing to worry about. I've had worse injuries by far." He looked at my now exposed arm, asking: "Is that where those scars come from?"
"Huh? Oh, yes." "Gon! You alright?!" called someone out, gaining our attention. We watched as Kurapika ran up to us.
