I climbed a tree, sitting onto a branch to make sure that I was hidden, but could still watch my surroundings. So we have to spend a whole week on this island. And during that time, we have to get the six points needed to pass this round.

I spend the first day simply scouting the area, picking up a few berries to eat. Some where really sweet and delicious, while some were bitter and inedible. I mean, I still ate them. It's better to sleep with a full belly than with an empty one.

Watching how the sun set, I glanced down at the number on my shirt. Hmm... I should probably hide it. But I don't even have a jacket anymore... Guess it'll just stay where it is then. Now, I only need to find my target. Gittarackur, was it? What a strange name.

There he is! I finally found him! But... what happened to his face? Why does he look better than before? His hair was now black and long. He looks younger. And more human. Although the look in his eyes... It reminds me of Killua, in a way.

I slowly approached him, making sure to cover my presence. I got closer and closer, until I stepped onto a branch, causing it to snap. Gittarackur turned his head, looking straight in my direction.

My eyes went wide as I hoped that he would simply continued his way. But of course he wouldn't. "You've been following me for quite some time now." he said, turning his whole body in my direction.

Ah, well, there's nothing left for me to do, is there? I got up, giving up my place of hiding. He was staring right at me, his face void of any emotion. It was kinda freaky, not gonna lie.

"Oh? You're that girl..." he trailed off, his eyes darkening, sending shivers down my spine. I knew it! He's far stronger than he seems. This is gonna be a problem. A really, really big problem.

I tensed up as he began to walk towards me. And before I knew it, he was standing right in front of me, raising his hand. He suddenly moved his hand down at an inhuman speed, which luckily triggered my reflexes.

I instinctively jumped back, narrowly avoiding his attack. My breath was caught in my throat as I stared at him. He's dead serious. He 100% wanted to kill me with that attack. I can tell.

A small smirk rose to my lips as I asked: "So a fight to the death, huh?" He continued to stare at me, observing each of my movements. I have to act quickly, or he might defeat and kill me.

So, I dashed forwards, pulling my dominant arm back and sending a punch his way. I used my momentum to increase its strength, hitting him right in the gut. He was pushed back quite a bit, but didn't change his posture at all.

"Hm... Not bad." he said, starting to attack once more. I dodged, trying to land a kick, which he easily blocked. And just like that, we exchanged a few hits here and there, while blocking and dodging most of it.

In the end, we fought for almost two hours.

But I could tell after the first five minutes. He was merely toying with me. He was simply studying my movements, wanting to see just how far he could push me in a fight. I knew that, and yet I continued. Because if I didn't, then I would automatically lose.

"A loss is unacceptable! You're my daughter, so fight like you are!" My eyes widened slightly as I was able to recall my father's words. He's a truly strong fighter. A genius when it comes to being a Gladiator. Almost everything that I know about fighting, I know from him. No matter how much I despised him and my mother for that, I can't deny that it all came in handy now.

I took in a deep breath, shifting my weight within a second. I dashed towards my opponent, making sure that I was faster than I was before. Too fast for him to react. He threw a punch my way, which I quickly dodged by jumping into the air.

"If you can't overpower your opponent, then surprise them." That was what Chrollo had told me. Given my appearance and age, that alone was enough of a surprise in most cases. But in fights like this, I had to use risky moves.

I punched him square in his face, causing his head to move to the side, and his whole body to move back once more. Once I landed back on the ground, I watched how he slowly turned his head back, still looking at me with that empty expression.

"You're quite strong. No wonder Killua took a liking to you." he said, cracking his neck a bit. I perked up at that, asking: "Did you meet Killua? Is he okay? Did you do anything to him?"

He simply shook his head, saying: "I didn't meet him." "Good." I replied, cracking my knuckles, slightly out of breath. "Now, let's continue." "No need." he said, taking his tag off of his green shirt.

I watched in confusion as he tossed it towards me, saying: "You're one of the few that could actually..." He trailed off, shaking his head slightly. "You earned it." he said as I caught his tag, staring at the number on it. This is it. I would win. I could continue the Hunter Exam and be with Gon and Killua.

Starting to walk away, Gittarackur muttered something to himself. He was still close enough for me to hear him, though. "You'll be of use later." I tilted my head a little, watching him leave.

"I... I won?" I asked myself, looking back down at both of the tags I now had. A huge smile appeared on my lips as I put the second tag right underneath mine, starting to run away from where I currently was. Now, I only need to wait the remaining days out. I actually did it!
