I began laughing, having to hold my stomach as I watched Leorio gamble our time. "Well played!" I called out, smiling from ear to ear. He's actually quite smart sometimes, isn't he?

First, he won us 10 hours by confirming that that guy is still alive. And now, he's about to gamble 20 hours on whether he's actually unconscious or not. By letting him dangle over the edge and almost dropping him.

"If he's actually unconscious, he'll fall to his death." stated Leorio, as cold as never before. "Are you insane?" asked the prisoner, causing me to chuckle once more. "Didn't know Leorio had it in him." I admitted, almost proud that he was at least a little crazy.

Killua grinned, saying: "That's actually pretty smart. Well done on his part." "I know right? Oh, they grow so quickly...!" Gon had to chuckle at my words, causing me to smile.

"His match hasn't been settled yet. We can't accept those terms." stated the prisoner, with Leorio quickly saying: "Don't worry. If he falls and dies, we'll forfeit the match, which will give you two wins. Is that satisfactory?" "Yes, it is. But then I'm changing my wager."

Oh? So he was faking, after all! That damned... If I ever get the chance, I'll break his bones for making us wait so long. "I bet 40 hours that he isn't unconscious. Everything I have left." said the woman.

"Heh, little sneak. Finally showing your true colors. Then, I'll let go of him." said Leorio, removing his hand from the guy. He suddenly burst into motion, saying: "I'm awake! I'm awake... Don't let go! Wait! I'm gonna fall!"

Grabbing him by his hand, Leorio said: "Good morning.", while pulling him back onto the arena. That guy said: "You people are crazy! I've had enough! I'll take the loss! Forget the sentence reduction! It's safer in prison..."

"You knew that he was awake." stated the female prisoner, looking at Leorio. He replied: "I actually aspire to become a doctor. All I had to do was check his eye movement." A doctor? That dude? I mean, I've seen worse.

"However, you're down to 20 hours." said the prisoner, glancing at the screen. Leorio said: "But now we have a 2-1 lead. Now. It's your turn! What do you want to bet on? Or have you lost your nerve because I've figured out your scheme?"

Her handcuffs were dropped, and she finally revealed herself, saying: "Fine. We will bet on whether I'm a woman or a man. And if you lose, I'll prove it to you by letting you inspect my whole body." I tilted my head a little as Killua said: "That old guy's probably dancing on the inside." "I have a bad feeling about this." added Kurapika.

"Why? Why is Leorio suddenly all red?" I asked, looking at Killua, who quickly turned to look away from me, covering his face with his arm. "S-So innocent..." he muttered out, only confusing me more.

Kurapika sighed, answering: "That's because he's an idiot. He will bet that she's a man." "Huh? Why?" asked Gon and me at the same time. However, we got no response this time. I turned to face Gon, who just shrugged. I copied his gesture, then went back to watch the gambling.

"I bet 10 hours that you're a man!" he declared, to which Kurapika said: "I knew it." "Dirty old man..." trailed Killua off. "Hey... I don't get anything anymore." I noted, looking between the two of them.

Gon asked: "But how did you know?" Killua hesitated to answer, then reached his hands out towards me. I was about to ask him what he was doing, but he simply covered my ears as he said something to Gon.

I could practically see the question marks appearing around me as they talked. "There you have it." said Killua, letting go of me. Gon nodded once, saying: "I get it now." "What? What did I miss?" I asked. Gon looked at me, then at Killua, who just shook his head. "Sorry, (Y/N)." apologized Gon, rubbing the back of his neck. Why can't I know? What's going on? What did I miss?

"Okay! Reveal the answer!" called Leorio out. The prisoner smiled, saying: "Too bad... I'm a woman." "R-Really?" "Would you like to check?" "B-B-But of course!" "What's happening? Is Leorio- Hey!" I said, pouting as Killua covered my eyes, preventing me from seeing what was going on.

"Why can't I know what's happening? What's going on?" I asked, not even attempting to move out of the way. Knowing Killua, he had at least some reasons as to do what he does. And I trust him.

He answered: "It's... complicated." "Just don't think about it. Just watching hurts..." added Kurapika with a sigh. "He's gonna lose." said Tonpa all of a sudden, gaining our attention.

"The opponent has seen through Leorio's strategy. He's been betting conservatively, to minimize damage from either outcome. A gambler who focuses on avoiding a loss won't ever win. I guess Leorio just doesn't have what it takes." he added.

"But still..." I trailed off, hoping that he would win. Not like we would lose. Both Killua and me will probably win fairly easily. But this whole gambling thing started off in our favor.

The female prisoner said: "Now it's your turn to think of a gamble. What do you want to bet on?" It would have to be a bet that they could never figure out. "Leorio has no more room for error. If he loses the next wager, the overall score will be 2-2. And we have 50 fewer hours to escape this tower." stated Kurapika, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Something she can't figure out..." I trailed off, thinking out loud. Gon looked at me, then said: "I got it. Leorio!" He turned to look at Gon, who said: "How about whether or not you're still in your teens?"

I had to laugh as Leorio began to yell at him, saying: "Come on, Gon! I don't look that old! I'm clearly a teenager! And stop laughing, (Y/N)!" "Aw, you blew it!" I said, shaking my head. "That was such a good idea, Gon." I praised, to which he smiled.

"Right! In that case, we'll use rock-paper-scissors! A bet on who'll win a game of rock-paper-scissors!" declared Leorio, with the female prisoner agreeing.
