Standing in front of the gigantic gate, (Y/N) smiled, happy to finally be a step closer to Killua. "That's really something." said Leorio, not believing his eyes. The tour-guide lady said: "This is the front gate of the Zoldyck estate. Also known as the door to Hades because no one who's entered has ever returned alive. To enter, you must pass through the door beside the security checkpoint."

"Well, let's go!" said (Y/N), starting to walk. The tour-guide quickly said: "But the area beyond the gate is private property, so we can't proceed." "Hold on! This is the front gate? The mountain's all the way over there!" said Leorio, pointing up at the mountain.

The guide said: "Correct. The Zoldycks own Kukuroo mountain, as well as the surrounding land." "Oh, that's a big garden." said (Y/N), humming. Leorio stared at her, saying: "Big is too small of a word..."

"Hey, guide... What do we have to do to get inside?" asked Gon, to which the guide asked: "Little boy, were you listening to my explanation?" "Uh-huh. But-" "If you go inside, you'll never get out alive! Assassins live inside."

"Yeah, one's our-" started (Y/N), but a man cut her off. He walked by them, saying: "It's all a sham." The other, taller man said: "A family of assassins that no one's ever seen." "Just a photo of their faces is worth 100'000'000."

Hearing this, Leorio yelled: "Seriously?! Damn! I should have taken a picture of Killua!" (Y/N) smiled at him, saying: "I can give you an autograph that you can sell, if you want to. People actually paid quite well for one from me." "For real?!" "Yeah."

They then watched the two men harassing the gatekeeper, then leaving with the key. Gon and (Y/N) quickly aided to the man, with Gon asking: "Are you okay?" (Y/N) helped him up, while he answered: "Yes, I'm fine."

He then sighed softly, saying: "Man... Now Mike's going to end up eating between meals again." "Killua never mentioned someone named Mike..." trailed (Y/N) off, thinking back to the night they had talked for hours, where he had told her about his family. That's also how she knew Illumi's name immediately.

Just a second later, the two guys' screams were heard, followed by silence. Then, the gate opened, and a big claw threw the two skeletons out. (Y/N)'s eyes were sparkling as the tourists and guide began to panic and flee.

"Woah! What is that?" she asked, looking at her friends. Kurapika shrugged, and the gatekeeper said: "Damn it... He's only supposed to eat at assigned times. Mike! Don't blame me if you get fat!"

"Hey, you guys! What are you doing?! Get on the bus!" called the tour-guide, waving at them. Gon smiled, saying: "You can leave. We're staying here." "Huh?" (Y/N) nodded, waving as she said: "Have a safe trip!" With that, the bus left.

"I see. So you're young Killua's friends. I'm happy to hear that. I've worked here for 20 years, but this is the first time any friends have come to visit." said the old man, handing each of us a cup of tea.

He sat down, saying: "Since I work here, I shouldn't say this, but the place is rather lonely. No one ever visits. Though we do see a lot of those..." He pointed behind him, at the trashcan that contained the two skeletons.

"Well, a family of assassins is pretty unusual. So I suppose it's the price they have to pay. Anyway, I'm glad you're here. Thank you." he said, bowing politely. Leorio waved with his hand, saying: "Don't mention it."

The gatekeeper then said: "However... I cannot let you inside." "Why not? I wanna see Killua!" I said, pouting a little. We're so close to him, and yet... "Didn't you see the large arm of the creature? It's name is Mike. It serves as the Zoldyck family watchdog. It only obeys family, and will attack anyone else. The beast still follows the order its master gave it 10 years ago... to kill every single intruder." explained the gatekeeper.

"So even their pet is a killer? That's kinda cool." I said, to which Leorio lightly smacked the back of my head, saying: "It's terrifying." The old man said: "But technically, he isn't following the order. Because he keeps eating them..."

He laughed, taking a sip of his tea. "Anyway, I can't let you inside. I wouldn't want to reduce young Killua's friends to skeletons." I puffed my cheeks out, saying: "But I'm strong! I'm sure I could beat Mike."

Man, this guy... I just want to get in. Can't I just enter and walk up the mountain? Then, I'll tell his parents to let Killua leave, and boom! He can continue to adventure with us! It's as simple as that, right?

Everyone suddenly turned around, looking at the huge stone gate. "The actual gate isn't locked, is it?" asked Kurapika, to which the guard said: "That's right." "So we can just walk in?" I asked, eager to enter.

Standing in front of the gate, Leorio attempted to push it open, only to fail miserably. Over and over. "I've tried pushing and pulling, but it won't budge! Are you sure it isn't locked?" "You just aren't strong enough." answered the old guard. "That's absurd! I've been using all of my strength!"

The guard took his jacket off, walking up the gate. He's actually ripped. Standing in front of the gate, he said: "This gate's official name is the Testing Gate. Anyone who cannot open this gate is unqualified to enter the Zoldyck estate."

With that, he began pushing, opening the small part of the gate. He then turned to face us, saying: "As you just saw, the door closes automatically, so you'll want to run in the second it opens. You don't need to worry about Mike. He has orders not to attack any who enter through the Testing Gate. Still, this is getting tougher as I age... But they'll fire me if I can't open the gate, so I need to keep in shape."

I looked up at the gate as he said: "I should mention that each of gate one's doors weighs two tons." "Two tons?! You're not supposed to be able to open that! Wait, what did you say? Gate one?" asked Leorio.

"Yes, have a look. There are seven gates. When you go up a gate, the weight doubles. The number of gates that open depends on the amount of strength you use. Incidentally, when young Killua returned, he opened gates one through three." noted the old man.

I looked up once more, saying: "One to three, huh? I could do four." "That's 16 tons, idiot!" said Leorio, looking at me as if I was joking. The gatekeeper asked: "Do you understand now? This is what's required just to get in the door. They live in a completely different world."

I stepped forwards, saying: "I'll give it a try." "Are you sure, young miss?" asked the gatekeeper. I smiled, saying: "Of course! I wanna make sure that Killua is safe! And then, I'll bring him back!" I placed my hands onto the gate, saying: "If I can open this, I'll go on ahead, okay?"

"Alone? On your own? Without us?" asked Leorio, obviously taken back by my words. I nodded, looking at Gon. "That's only fair, right? If I can open it, then I can enter." Gon nodded, saying: "That's true." "But please be careful. If anything happens, come back to us." noted Kurapika, patting my head.

I grinned, saying: "I will! Thanks for the trust, guys!" "Wait-" started the old gatekeeper, watching as I began to push the gate with all my might. The first one opened, then the second, then the third, and finally, the fourth.

I could hear their gasps of surprise as I quickly slipped past the gate, saying: "See you!" "Good luck!" called Gon, right before the gates closed again. "Ha, I'm stronger than Killua." I said, chuckling to myself as I began to walk towards Kukuroo mountain.
