Daqing knew that Shen Wei would be too heavy for him to move and he didn't want to call the guards, so he fetched some pillows to make him comfortable plus the duvet from the bed to throw over him, leaving Wei as comfortable as possible while he changed into his cat form and cuddled in close to give him some heat.
Yunlan stormed through the main office to his own, and slammed the door closed clearly showing his anger, while Chu watched him through the office window as he paced up and down trying to think things through. Lin Jing slowly approached Chu, suggesting that maybe the rest of the staff should leave and go home before Yunlan explodes, it was nearly home time for them anyway, and Chu agreed but he would stay. He was waiting for the inevitable argument and he gazed over at Guo Ying who was meditating in silence. Yunlan threw open his office door and beckoned quietly for Chu to come in while the rest of the staff rapidly left.
Chu entered and out of habit, closed the door behind himself, and sat down waiting for the argument.
"That's how you knew it wasn't him, plus he's right handed." Yunlan said accusingly while he pointed angrily at Chu.
"You recognised Guo Ying as soon as you saw him and knew he wasn't from the minister. Have I missed anything else that you haven't told me? I feel as if I've been played. Would Ying answer any questions if I asked him? "
Yunlan was furious with the situation he had found himself in.
"Chu Shuzhi, explain something to me, anything to get me out of this mood, because I will believe you, if you just explain."
Yunlan said as he tried to breathe steadily to control his temper, and threw himself into the chair.
"Alright Yunlan, I'll try. The person who calmed the customers in the first bank raid is called Black Robe, he is kind, powerful, honest, honourable, and he defends everyone against threats that most people don't know exist. I've known him for a very long time but the last time we met was years ago. Something serious must have happened because he blocked our memories and I didn't recognise him in the first bank raid. Early hours of Tuesday morning, the guards came to collect me and brought me to his house. He was ill and I'm the only doctor he will allow to look after him. It's serious enough to floor him for ten days but he will recover, however, today's trip will probably have set him back a day or two. He removed the memory block and then I knew that it wasn't him in the first bank and no way was it him in the second job. Guo Ying is one of his guards, they are loyal and would die for him, they obey without question, and if he has been told to answer your questions, he will tell you everything."
Chu waited for Yunlan to absorb the information hoping that it was enough to calm him down, and help him understand some of what was happening around him. He looked less stressed than he was when Chu had entered the small office, but now he watched as Yunlan called on Guo Ying hoping to get some answers from him. The guard stood in the small office waiting, knowing that some questions would need approval.
