The applause of a crowd is heard within a large battle coliseum as a radio announcer talks through a loudspeaker revealing the main event.
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen I precent to you the ultimate battle you've been waiting for in The Tournament of Strength!!
The crowd cheered as the announcer continues.
Announcer: On the left side we have the Pokémon Trainer from Pallet Town in the Kanto region, the Pokémon Champion himself, Ash Ketchum!
The camera cuts to Ash with his partner Pikachu on his shoulders as he enters the tournament.
Ash: I wonder what kind of battle we'll be doing Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Announcer: And on the right side we have the Yo-Kak summoner from the Adams family, let's hear it for Nate Adams!
The camera cuts to Nate as he and Jibanyan.
Nate: Well Jibanyan, looks like we have to prepare ourselves for the toughest battle yet.
Jibanyan: Meow. Yeah sure is
Forcefields are made across the coliseum to protect the audience as the announcer prepares to announce the fight. As Ash and Nate send Pikachu and Jibanyan to the battlefield.
Announcer: Alright folks this battle's going to be a deadly battle so brace yourselves! All fighters ready.... And.... Beeeeegin!!!!!!
Ash: Pikachu use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu shoots Thunderbolt at Jibanyan.
Nate: Dodge it, Jibanyan!
Jibanyan: Meow! Okay!
Jibanyan dodges the electric attack.
Ash & Nate: Get in closer!
Pikachu and Jibanyan get in close into combat landing some hits that all changed when Ash spoke his second command.
Ash: Pikachu use Quick Attack!
Pikachu gets out or range and began speed blitzing Jibanyan before he could react.
Jibanyan: What?
As he's confused he continues to get hit.
Nate: (thinking) Wow. This guy's mouse pretty quick. Impressive but... (speaking) Jibanyan use your fire!
Jibanyan unleashes a large burst of fire that knocks Pikachu back before it could land a hit in.
Ash: Pikachu are you okay?!
Pikachu gets up.
Ash: What a relief. Alright then use Volt Tackle!
Pikachu charges up electricity and charges in.
Nate: Attack him with your blaster!
Jibanyan responds by using Meow Meow Blaster as the two clash attacks creating an explosion.
