We open to a shot of Gotham City at night time where we see a large TV screen with Vicki Vale covering the latest news.
Vicki Vale: Good evening Gotham this is Vicki Vale earlier last night a female Russian assassin from the globally international terrorist organization, World Serpent was found dead in an abandoned building according to sources she was trying to assassinate Batman and it reached to the point where Batman is forced to kill her. With many World Serpent sitings in Gotham here's what Commissioner James Gordon had to say.
Gordon: I don't blame Batman for killing the assassin in self defense I'm sure he's shaken that he had to break his own code but the fact that he did this means World Serpent is an extremely dangerous threat. I want all Gotham citizens to remain in their homes until the threat of World Serpent is done with. The leader of World Serpent is gonna have a field day with this and I don't want my city to be in complete destruction while he attempts to kill Batman. Understand?
Vicki Vale: Well there you have it folks Commissioner Gordon has requested that all civilians stay home until the the threat is over in the meantime-
(*Cues: Watts Up Danger*)
As Vicki is continuing her report we see on the rooftops Spider-Man seen web-swinging away from Ladybug who is also swinging with her yo-yo in hot pursuit. Peter narrowly avoids a Marinette yo-yo as he continues to swing forward.
Spider-Man: Hey watch it with that! I have to investigate that assassin's death so go away!
Marinette continues chasing her opponent while throwing another yo-yo at him.
Ladybug: You're telling me to go away? You're the one who attacked me!
Spider-Man: Well coming into this city I knew those World Serpent guys were in town so I had to keep my guard up and was completely startled so- AHHH!
One of Ladybug's yo-yos hits Spidey and sends him spiraling downwards. Ladybug dives down to go after him as he spins out of control.
Spider-Man: Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!
Peter eventually regains his posture and launches himself upwards just as Ladybug was about to kick him and turns around. Spider-Man then web Ladybug by the arm and pulls her to him leading to a midair fight. Both threw fist at each other attempting to land a hit but Peter manages to land a right jab across Marinette's jaw sending her flying. Before Ladybug lands on the street, Spidey catches the Miraculous by her feet with his webs before throwing her to a nearby building.
Ladybug: Those things come out of your wrists? How did you do it?
Ladybug is alarmed when two of Spider-Man's webs land right next to him.
Spider-Man: I call them web shooters!
Peter launches himself like a slingshot into the build. Marinette rolls to the side and lands safely on the street.
