Peach: On the planet Gaia, lived one young woman who is perhaps seen by most fans as one of the most tragic females of all time one who would impact the lives of many. This is Aerith Gainsborough.
Amy: Aerith's life was screwed from the start. No no no fuck that it was screwed WAY before she was even born.
Peach: Long story short her mother was named Ifalna she met a man named Gast Faremis a professor working for a corporation known as Shinra Electric Power Company who runs Gaia.
Amy: How the Hell does an entire corporation run an entire planet? Anyways the two fell and loved then proceeded to hit it off and had a daughter named Aerith too bad the greedy Shinra had ulterior motives so they gas and captured Aerith and Ifalna so they can perform many tests and inhumane experiments on them.
Peach: This was all due to their natural heritage you see Aerith and her mother are actually descendants of a powerful civilization and species known as the Cetra otherwise known as Ancients, they're uhh... an ancient civilization with a deep connection with the planet and the Lifestream a powerful source of spiritual energy on the planet. Shinra has been abusing the Lifestream too much so for their own power sources and so their goal is to use a Cetra to enter a place known as the Promised Land that is said to be an endless stream of Lifestream and take it all for themselves. Aerith and her mother as the last known Cetra alive.
Amy: Damn. No surprise that we are dealing with corruption over here but to perform inhumane experience is just so infuriating and unforgivable. Luckily Gast who is literally the only human left tried to help Aerith and her mother escaped too bad he was killed in the process and the pair are captured again.
Peach: Shinra continued to experiment on Aerith and Ifalna for 7 years before they finally managed to escaped unfortunately Ifalna was wounded in the process leaving young poor Aerith all alone.
Amy: 7 whole years of inhumane experimenting on top of her mother dying. Ohhh I swear to God when I get my hands on those monsters I'll make sure that their blood is stained on my hammer!
Peach: Fortunately, Aerith was adopted by a nice woman named Elmyra Gainsborough and for the first time in Aerith's life she found happiness in a new life and a new home.
Amy: Years later she met a nice boy named Zack Fair, he's part of Shinra's SOLIDER program and they bounded after Zack got an injury and went on wacky adventures together and fell in love then Zack would go on to die in at some point thanks to Shinra. Even after gaining freedom Shinra still manages to be a pain in Aerith's ass. Corrupted ass bitches.
Peach: She would go on to become the flower girl we all know and that's where she had a chance meeting with Zack's best friend, Cloud Strife.
Amy: Cloud is part of a resistance group Avalanche and organization of freedom fighters dedicating themselves to stopping Shinra and free Gaia from the clutches. Despite the circumstances that they were in, Aerith decided to join Cloud and friends to save the planet and she's got more than enough skills to do so. She wields her signature Guard Stick which is a long ranged weapon that used to fire of some kinds of magic from Materia.
Peach: Materia is a byproduct of the Lifestream. Green is Magic Materia casts offensive spells like the elements, gravity, cause instant death, reflect attacks, casts shields, and stops time. Blue is Support Materia which is usually healing and counterattacks, and yellow is Command Materia which has command spells.
Amy: But red's the most powerful, 'cause they can summon giant monsters. Aerith also has several other staffs with cooler names like Timeless Rod. Where do I get one of those? I've been meaning to try out new weapons.
Peach: Well that's odd I always kinda liked your hammer.
Amy: Yeah but sometimes you gotta be diverse sometimes you know.
