Tails: Wealth, fame, power. Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates, obtained this and everything else the world had to offer.
Luigi: Too bad for him he was brutally executed by the World Government.
Tails: However despite his impending demise Roger left a message of encouragement to find his legendary treasure: the One Piece.
Luigi: So everyone boarded their ships and set off to find the One Piece.
Tails: For years Rogers has inspired millions of people to become pirates to find the One Piece, including the young boy named Monkey D. Luffy.
Luigi: From birth it was clearly obvious that Luffy was destined for greatness he was born to Monkey D. Dragon the World's Worst Criminal. Yeah you can probably guess where this is coming from.
Tails: Despite having an absent father, Luffy lived a relatively normal life. Albeit an extremely wild normal life to say the least.
Luigi: Luffy's life would change the day he met Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates. He desperately wanted to but Shanks refused him.
Tails: Then after eating a mysterious fruit more on that later, being saved by a bandit, Shanks entrusted Luffy with his Straw Hat and leaves Luffy who is determined to form his own pirate crew, find the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.
Luigi: After living life with two of his adopted brothers, Luffy eventually grew up and set out to form a pirate crew on his journey to become Pirate King. Which might seem impossible at first well turns out that weird fruit he ate gave him actual superpowers.
Tails: That's because the fruit Luffy ate earlier wasn't an ordinary fruit it's called a Devil Fruit. They're supernatural fruits that are scattered throughout the world. Any living being who eats one will gain a unique ability.
Luigi: Too bad you lose your ability to swim in the process you'll be drowning faster than Sonic for real but who cares when you have fruits that let you control fire, smoke, create earthquakes, but at the same time.... you also get weird looking ones.... Gross.
Tails: The Devil Fruit, Luffy at is called the Gomu Gomu no Mi or Gum-Gum Fruit for English.
Luigi: The Gomu Gomu no Mi turns Luffy'e entire body literally made of rubber which allows him to take some serious punishment that would kill a normal person but most importantly he can stretch his arms and legs for insane attacks like the Gomu Gomu no Pistol.
Tails: Luffy utilizes his rubber body to launch himself in the air, grapple onto things.
Luigi: Basically the same time of shit as Mr. Fantastic or Plastic Man. ButLuffy can actually take this a step further with another type of cool power: Haki.
Tails: Haki is a mysterious power that allows individuals to harness their own spiritual energy for various superhuman feats. As this energy manifests from willpower. And there are 3 kinds of Haki.
Luigi: Observation Haki grants the user an extrasensory sixth sense that allows them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, as well as gain limited precognitive abilities. In other words he can see into the future.
Tails: Armament Haki allows the user to use their own spiritual energy to create, in essence, an invisible piece of armor around themself, providing incredible offensive and defensive capabilities. They use it to increase their powers and cause Internal Destruction.
Luigi: But the best of the best has to go to Supreme King Haki by allowing one to assert one's will over others to dominate them and create massive shockwaves, splitting entire clouds, and even prevent people from using Observation Haki.
Tails: Haki is so insane that Gol D. Roger managed to conquer the sea without a Devil Fruit.
Luigi: Bro for real used only Haki and dominated. No wonder Luffy wants to be like him. Hey speaking of which Tails which one do you want to have Haki or Devil Fruits?
Tails: That's kind of a tough one. I would probably go with Haki to be honest.
Luigi: Yeah I would too. Speaking of which I have a good idea on how we can learn Haki.
Tails: You sure it's safe.
Luigi: Yeah I'm sure it is.
