In a grassland area in the nighttime with the moon shining in the sky we see the Grim Reaper himself, Ragna the Bloodedge standing in the middle of the field staring at the moon and stars with a depressed look on his face as he closes his eyes he realizes that he's not alone as he hears footsteps near him.
Ragna: Who are you? What is your business here? You are not from around here.
He opens his eyes as the footsteps stop and behind him was another individual is the none other, then the Lord of Calamity, Velvet Crowe who was walking past him as she answers Ragna's question.
Velvet: It's none of your business, I suggest you let me be I have some reflecting to do.
As Velvet continues to walk she hears a sound as if her sword is drawn that was Ragna pulling out his Blood Scythe as he continues to speak.
Ragna: Unfortunately that isn't an option given the type of person you are, Velvet Crowe. Now we can do this the easy way or we can do it the hard way the choice is yours.
Velvet realizing the situation wipes out her Wrist Blade on her right hand.
Velvet: Ragna the Bloodedge, if you know who I am then you should know I don't go down so easily.
Ragna: Very well. The hard way it is then.
With no words left spoken, the two vengeful siblings turn around and in an instant clash blades they push each other back and start the battle off with a sword fight with neither landing a single hit on one another. Ragna attempts to use Nightmare Edge but Velvet manages to dodge it and retaliates with a fury of swings but the Bloodedge manages to block it and knock Velvet away who quickly recovers.
Ragna: Is that the best you can?
He holds up his arm as it transforms into the Azure Grimoire.
Velvet: I'm just getting started.
Velvet responds by transforming her arm into the Therion Claw. Armed with superpowered. The older siblings of Saya and Laphicet charge at each other while yelling as they clash their respective arms.
