Bowser Jr: We all know Raiden Mei is pretty awesome in Honkai Impact 3rd. If you asked Shadow and Zero who were there when they hosted her episode last season, they would be able to tell you that Mei is a pretty interesting case as she had a pretty sad backstory but was lifted by Kiana Kaslana. This impacted her so much that she was more than willingly to fall to darkness just for her but she eventually turned back to the light and helped her girlfriend saved the world. But did you know that in another universe there was another version of Mei that was not so very lucky?
Sage: And in the universe of Honkai Star Rail, this version of Mei who goes by the name Acheron lived on the planet called Izumo.
Bowser Jr: While we might not know much about her backstory as of yet, Acheron most likely lived a very peaceful life on the planet until one day invaders from Izumo's sister planet Takamagahara attacked and destroyed everything. Ah yes can never go wrong with tragedy am I right.
Sage: That was the Yaoyorozu no Kami. They are a hostile phenomena taking in forms of natural disasters, beats, turning humans into monsters, or powerful beings called the Sovereign. In order to fight back against this threat Acheron and her people forged blades from slain Sovereign to fight back against the Kami.
Bowser Jr: Aka literally Honkai Impact 3rd. No really Herrscher literally means Sovereign in German and they all have mostly the same names and abilities too.
Sage: Despite their efforts it still wasn't enough to stop them. In the end Acheron's efforts were in vain, all her people died, her planets were doomed to fail thanks to XI the Aeon of Nihility. It is in this moment that Acheron accept Nihility, the meaningless of existent, destroyed both planets herself and became the Self-Annihilator and Emanator of Nihility.
Bowser Jr: Then she wondered the galaxy all alone and hopeless but hope eventually came along in the form of a young woman named Frebass and we all know she's basically this universe's own Kiana.
Sage: Frebass was actually a Nameless an individual who travel across planets exploring the known universe following the path of the Trailblaze. And she and Acheron bonded like close friends and traveled across worlds together.
Bowser Jr: And are probably lesbians too. Too bad unlike the OGs from the original universe this love story didn't have a happy ending and Frebass tragically died making Acheron the Kiana-less Mei in the Honkai Star Rail universes.
Sage: This tragic loss served only to drive Acheron even further into darkness and so she vows to avenge her homeworld and her friend by defeating IX.
Bowser Jr: And she's got all the skills she needs to do. As a lightning type user following the path of Nihility, Acheron is a fucking badass fighter.
Sage: Much like her Honkai Impact 3rd counterpart, Acheron can manipulate and utilize lightning to create thunderstorms, deal lightning damage to enemies and is a skilled swordsmen able to slash enemies and even create after images. But that's not even talking about the sword she wields: Naught.
Bowser: She's already skilled with her swordsheathed but when she unsheathes it oh how she goes beast mode with all the white her in her transformation. The only problem is why didn't that transformation make her butt ass naked?!
Sage: Wh-why are you even thinking about it.
Bowser: Oh come on you saw how her transformation showed her entire stomach so why can't her clothes come off as a result. It would've been really REALLY cool if I get to see her entire naked body in 4K and-
Sage tasers Bowser Jr knocking him unconscious.
Sage: (sighs) You're such a pervert Junior. Anyways I'm going to inform his father about his perverted behavior so he can give him a good talking to and once Junior is scolded we'll be back for the full episode of Riku VS Acheron.
