On the clock tower above Twilight Town a black hooded figure which turns about to be Xion is seen sitting on the building eating sea salt ice cream while looking onto the sunset until she hears footsteps approaching her as another figure revealed to be Marie sits right next to her eating steak skewers while looking at the sunset. There was similar for a moment until Marie started to speak.
Marie: Wow I must say I like the view from up here it looks so nice.
Xion nods in agreement and continues to listen to Marie speaking as her voice lowers.
Marie: I can't help but feel sad, you know? I'm pretty sure this place brings you back memories doesn't it?
As Marie says this, Xion takes a moment to take a deep breath in before answering the question.
Xion: Yes it does bring back memories. My friends and I would always come up here to eat ice cream all the time. Of course back then I had no idea I was someone's memories.
Marie: I feel the same way. I had no memories of my past and as time went on I became depressed and wanted answers about my origin and when I did.... I was never the same again.
Xion: I understand how you feel when I found out my purpose I was devastated it felt like a hole in my heart opened.
Marie: Seems we are both victims of circumstances of this dark and cruel world we live in.
Xion: Yeah.
As the two black haired girls bonded over their similarities, Xion starts to realize that Marie had ulterior motives for the conversation.
Xion: You didn't come here to bond with me did you?
Marie takes a deep breath before revealing the truth to Xion.
Marie: Yes. The organization I'm apart of has ordered me to take you down to end your suffering. Please do not take this personal but I have ti complete my mission, but rest assured you will be granted a peaceful passing.
Xion: I understand. There is not hard feelings but, I'm afraid you will have to defeat me first in order for that to happen.
The air turns cold as Xion and Marie stand up on their feet and drop their respective favorite foods half finished preparing. We then cut to a shot of the clock tower until we see a small explosion from the distance.
The camera cuts back to see Xion now unhooded and Kingdom Key Keyblade in hand as Marie dives down and starts landing some punches and kicks to Xion to which the Nobody blocks and knocks Marie to the ground. Marie slowly gets up while Xion lands on her feet and gets into her stance.
Xion: Is that all you've got?
Marie then recovers and pulls out her cards....
Marie: No. I'm just getting started.
...before crushing the cards which releases some energy which summons her Persona, Kaguya Hime.
