All colours symbolize something, whether they're feelings or emotions

All colours symbolize something, whether they're feelings or emotions. Grey's of course one of them and somewhat contradicting since everything grey coloured means different things.

The colour grey symbolizes neutrality and balance. Not bad for such a moody colour, right? Yet it's usually associated with boredom and uncertainty, even depression. Perhaps it means you have a choice when choosing the colour grey to your painting or outfit, you can select what it means to you, what it symbolizes to you. It doesn't have to mean uncertainty, it can mean balance. Opposites attract.

Same goes when you look out the window and see the sky painted in different shades of grey, no glimpses of blue sky anywhere. Grey clouds can indicate negative emotions such as sadness, anger, and frustration. Yet white clouds typically symbolize stability and optimism. Dare say it's in the eye of the watcher. If the grey clouds are the only thing you see, perhaps it determines the rest of your day. However if it's the clean and fresh white clouds above you that attract your attention, there's hope. But as we're looking at the weather, you can't ignore the wind as it can represent change, a breath of fresh air that brings about new beginnings.

Vivi chooses grey means optimism today. She chooses it when she gets up from bed and opens the drapes. She chooses it when the sky is filled with liquorice clouds and a few marshmallows peaking through here and there. She chooses it when she gets dressed in a grey sweater and jeans. She chooses it when she skips breakfast and heads straight downstairs.

She chooses it over and over again since last night treated her so awfully.

"Hi." she brightly greets her employees who are having breakfast together, "Or good morning."

They both stand up which Vivi doesn't really care for, almost tells them to sit down because she isn't that important that they need to stand up every time she enters a room.

Sunmi replies to her happily, Jungkook's greeting is a little quieter.

The vision of the two reminds her of Kwan's words from yesterday but she pushes it aside quickly since today is all about optimism.

Hands clasped behind her back, she turns her attention to Jungkook, "I was thinking about getting breakfast from the city." she carefully suggests, her gaze travelling on him from head to toe as he looks so... Comfortable and warm in his black sweatpants and a black hoodie.

Jungkook nods, clears his throat as he grabs his dishes from the table, "Let me get changed first." he mutters, gains a glance from Sunmi since his voice sounds nothing like usual.

The brightness on Vivi's face drops a little. She watches as he slouchily walks over to the sink to drop off his dishes and turns to face towards the opening of the kitchen where Vivi is, ignores her whole being as he goes past her, gaze only accompanying the floor.
