"What I'm trying to say is, I can keep a secret, for as long as I like. I can take secrets to my grave." her tone lowers, their eye contact doesn't ease, "But I need you to promise me you'll do that too. Because if you do, we'll be okay. We'll be sa...

"What is this?" Vivi blurts out the second she's met with not just her father, but Jay and his father as well, staring back at them in this luxurious living room.
They're all in suits, hands in their pockets and eyebrows knitted together.
All the men she's practically terrified of in one room.
Something's terribly wrong.
As she walks further in, slowly with concern taking over her being, she understands.
The pictures scattered on her father's coffee table give her the answer to that question right away.
"Mr. Jeon, step aside from my daughter, please." her father's voice is loud as he speaks up and she barely recognizes him, his anger and what seems to be disappointment in his behavior making him almost a whole different person.
Though his behavior is the last thing she needs to be worried about, "What is happening?" she demands, glances back at Jungkook to make sure he's not taking orders from her father. He stands there a few steps behind her completely still, bewildered gaze jumping between those three men.
"Mr. Lee? Please." her father motions towards Jungkook, ignores his daughter completely, as Mr. Lee appears out of nowhere and approaches him.
Vivi's quick to stand in front of Jungkook to shield him from this man that is about escort him out, "No. You do not have the right to tell him what to do. He's my head of security and I want him right here. Mr. Lee, respectfully, step back." she's strict with her words, points at Mr. Lee with her index finger and forces him to stop.
And for a moment her words are heard because Mr. Lee stops proceeding, turns to look at her father again to wait for further instructions.
"Vivianne, darling, he doesn't work for you anymore." her father states coldly.
"What?" she practically gasps before striding towards the living room, heart beating in her chest and fists clenching.
She's sure this is her personal hell when she hears Mr. Lee somewhere behind her guide Jungkook and it causes her to turn back around, almost losing her balance while doing so.
"No. Mr. Lee. Mr. Lee!" she hastily raises her voice as she takes a few hurried steps towards Jungkook who's already being guided away to another room.
The thing is, Jungkook can't say no to his employer. Not when what's about to happen to him is still in the unknown. It cannot be anything good, the pictures on that coffee table enough to tell him that. Although he doesn't know how long he will be able to comply. Because the way Vivi's already in pieces, them scattered around the floor waiting for him to pick them up, he finds it impossible to not care. If he wasn't trapped by the shackles his job gives him, he wouldn't leave Vivi's side, no matter what. But until then, he'll be helpless.
