"What I'm trying to say is, I can keep a secret, for as long as I like. I can take secrets to my grave." her tone lowers, their eye contact doesn't ease, "But I need you to promise me you'll do that too. Because if you do, we'll be okay. We'll be sa...

With a hop, Jungkook pulls his grey sweatshorts on before grabbing his black t shirt from his bed to put it on in front of the mirror.
As he does so, his attention moves to his upper body, his muscles that he stares at with such critiqueness. Shaking his head, sighing, he pulls his shirt on, the sight in the mirror giving him more motivation.
It's not that it's bad. He's in greap shape, actually. It's just every slight change in his appearance bothers him, scares him that it'll affect his work performance.
Since the days are mostly the same and there's time to kill, Jungkook makes time for his workouts. Goes out for jogs. Does sparring in the forest path. Pushups. Squats. Anything. Keeps himself in shape because his life barely consists of any exercise at the moment if he didn't do so. Of course, before he leaves, he makes sure there's more people at the house than just Sunmi. Usually it's at lunch or dinner time when the chef is there as well. He's at ease when he knows Vivianne isn't alone.
As Jungkook's grabbing his phone from the nightstand, there's a faint knock on his room's door.
"Yes?" he hollers, not paying full attention to it because it might just be Sunmi announcing the washing machine's ready where he stuffed his laundry an hour ago.
The door opens in the background while Jungkook's adjusting his black cap on his head, making sure every hair strand is pulled back and not tickling his forehead.
Sunmi peaks through the doorcrack, Jungkook spots her through the mirror.
"Is this a bad time?" she hesitantly asks.
Jungkook keeps himself busy, doesn't want to waste time since it's almost dinner time and he needs this jog.
"I'm just heading out for a run. What's up?" he asks nonchalantly as he turns to Sunmi, all done and ready to head out.
Sunmi grits her teeth together, even glances behind her in a way of checking if anyone could hear her. It makes Jungkook frown, wonder if informing him about laundry is this serious.
"Someone's coming over. A guy Vivianne is... Kind of seeing." she says as she steps into his room and closes the door almost completely, "It's not that he's... Let's just say I don't trust him. Is it possible for you to be upstairs when he arrives?"
Jungkook stares at her with a cold gaze, ponders his options. Or actually, he knows he has no options. The only option is to listen to her even though it's kind of his job to determine if someone around Vivianne is trustworthy.
But this... Guy. He hasn't met him before. He's been here for more than three weeks now and not once has he seen this guy.
The look in Sunmi's eyes tells him everything. She appears to know him. Or at least she knows who he is. And if she's unsure about him, he needs to take it seriously.
