Part 4: Will he take the Job?

Pond was surprised to see Joong coming alone to the office. He said he'll bring Lego with him. But he was all alone now.

"Where's Lego?" Pond asked.

"We met Dunk and Lego wanted to go with him." Joong said going into his office followed by Pond.

"Dunk?? As in Phu's friend Dunk?" Pond was surprised to know that Joong knows Dunk.

"Yes."

"How do you know him?" Pond asked curiously.

"We met the other day at Phuwin's place."

"Oh" Pond didn't said anything other than that.

Joong tried to finish his meetings and works as soon as possible and he finished all his works by 12.30 pm. Then he rushed to Dunk's place to get Lego because he didn't want to bother Dunk for long.

When Joong came to Dunk's place he saw Lego and Dunk near the road. It looked like they were waiting for something. Joong stopped his car near them and got out. Lego screamed as soon he saw Joong.

"Papa"

Dunk turned around and surprised to see Joong near them.

"Hey champ. Where are you going?" Joong asked curiously carrying his son in his hands.

"Mr Archen I'm sorry. I didn't have anything in my house for lunch. I was taking him out for lunch." Dunk said bit worriedly. He was afraid that Joong would be mad at him for taking his son out.

"I didn't have lunch either. May I join with you Mr Natachai?" Joong said with a teasing smile in his face. Dunk understood why Joong talked to him like that. He wanted to Dunk to call him without formalities. Dunk had no idea why his face turned red though.

"Wha-" Dunk couldn't finish whatever he was saying as Lego started to scream happily.

"Let's go"

They had lunch in a fancy restaurant while talking and Lego keep talking about each and everything he did with Dunk. Then he showed Joong a small stuffed toy which Dunk gave him. They ate and had a very comfortable time with each other.

After lunch Joong drove Dunk back home even though he insisted that he can take a taxi or cab. Dunk smiled at Lego's sad face when they left him in his door step. Dunk had to promise him that he'll spend another day with him later.

Joong started to stress about not finding a babysitter because it was now being about three weeks and he couldn't still find someone.

"Joong, what do you know about Dunk?" Pond asked in one evening while he was having a drink with Joong.

"Nothing much. He goes to college and have a brother. His parents are dead. That's all. Why did you ask?"

In the passed few weeks Joong met Dunk few times because Lego insisted on meeting him. One time when Joong refused he started to throw a tantrum and Joong had no choice but to drive to Dunk's place. Joong got to know about the latter in those visits. But he didn't asked anything too personal from him since they were not that close.

Joong couldn't stop but feel little warm around Dunk. He haven't felt like that in a long time around someone. Even now when Pond asked him about Dunk a small smile sneaked to Joong's face.

"He has few financial problems. And he is looking for a part time job these days?"

This information was something that Joong didn't know actually. Dunk did not look like someone from a wealthy family but he looked happy and care free person. Joong didn't even think that he had financial problems.

"I can find him a job from our company." Joong said. Of course he can find him a job. He was the CEO.

"I don't think he can handle that serious job with his current state. But I think you have some other job you can offer for him." Pond said. Joong raised his eyebrow. And Pond kept talking.

"Why don't you asked him to be Lego's baby sitter? He is already familiar with him and I saw that Lego likes him so much. He won't make any trouble to Dunk."

Joong raised his head and looked at Pond with wide eyes. His friend was really a genius. He couldn't believe he never thought of that before.

"Do you think he will like it?" Joong asked. Too eager to know whether Dunk would like to be his son's babysitter.

"May be he will. I'll have Phuwin to ask him"

Joong noded his. He hoped Dunk would take the job. So he can come to Joong's place every day. That means Joong can see his sunshine smile everyday. Thinking of it already gave a smile to Joong's face. He was looking forward to know Dunk's answer.
