Part 16: Encounter at the party

Dunk was in front of his closet thinking what to wear for Pond's birthday party. It wasn't like he had much options. He only had few shirts that could wear to a party. At the end he decided to go with a baby blue shirt which had white stripes and blue denim pants from a brand called Vespera. He was waiting for Joong to pick him up since he promised to give hima lift.

Dunk went out when he heard the sound of Joong's car. Joong and Lego was there. But they were not alone. Nine was also with them. Dunk went to car and got inside.

"Uncle DunkDunk is so handsome today." Lego said hugging Dunk.

"Thank you pup. You are handsome too. My handsome boy."

"Papa, my uncle DunkDunk is most handsome."

"Oohoo, So your papa is not handsome?"

"Oops.. Papa also handsome." Lego said cutely smiling while showing his puppy eyes.

"Dunk, how come you are invited to the party. As much as I know Pond only invited to his very closed friends. And all of them are very rich." Nine asked turning to Dunk.

"Phuwin and I are friends from childhood. I get to know phi Pond because of Phuwin. Phi Pond is like a brother to me. He had helped me so many times." Dunk said. He had a smile in his face when he talked about Pond.

"Pond was a playboy back then. In college. Do you remember Joong? He used to date two people one time." Nine asked Joong. Joong shrugged his shoulders.

"People can change Nine. Pond changed because of Phuwin. He really loves him. You should see his face when he talks about Phuwin. Sometimes it's a headache actually." Joong said laughing remembering Pond's idiotic face when talking about Phuwin. But he didn't realise the person next to him had a angry face.

There were only few guests have arrived when they arrived at the party. They straight went to Pond and Phuwin who were talking to a guest.

"Pond, my friend, happy birthday to you." Joong hugged Pond tightly. Pond hugged him back.

"Happy birthday uncle Pond" Lego hugged Pond and gave Pond a handmade birthday card.

"I made this myself. But uncle DunkDunk helped." Lego said cutely.

"Thank you so much champ. This is the most precious gift I received." Pond said kissing the little boys cheek.

"Happy birthday Pond."Nine also wished Pond and handed him his gift.

"Thank you Nine. Nice to see you again."

"Phi Pond, Happy birthday." Dunk said giving Pond his gift. Pond pulled Dunk into a very tight hug.

"Thank you so much my nong. And you look so handsome today." Dunk blushed with Pond's compliment.

"ooh.. You are complimenting others when I am right here." Phuwin said pouting.

"Ooo, Don't get jealous baby." Pond said hugging Phuwin amd kissing his cheek.

"Don't be offended Phu, but my own son said Dunk is handsome than me."

"No no, papa is handsome too." Lego also said pouting and showing his best puppy eyes.

"Okay,okay that's enough. I'll go talk to the other guests. You guys enjoy. Pond stopped everyone's teasings and went to his other guests. Joong, Dunk, Phuwin, Nine and Lego took seats.

"Dunk, we met again. Looks like you are following me everywhere." Phoon came to Dunk out of nowhere.

"Phoon, what the hell are you doing here?" Phuwin asked angrily. He knew about everything what happened with Dunk and him. So he hate the man as much as Dunk.

"I came here with Mr. Jerald."

"Then stay away from my friend." Phuwin hissed at Phoon.

"Oh Phuwin, you know how much Dunk love me. You know better than anyone else how he begged me not to break up with him." Phoon looked at Dunk and smirked.

"Wait. Dunk used to date you?" Nine asked interrupting Phoon.

"Oh yes-"

"Phoon, stop. I really regret that I used to love you. It's just a waste of my time. And I am really glad that you broke up with me. I was an idiot to beg you for not to break up. I loved you. That's true. But not anymore." Dunk said angrily. Few people looked at their table because of the commotion.

Phoon was going to said something again but this time Joong stopped him.

"If you tried to insult him one more time I'll punch you." Joong's voice was deep and dangerous. Phoon seemed to think about his choices.

"Mr Archen, he is not the person you think he is. You'll figure ot out soon." Phoon said and left the table.

Dunk got up and excused himself to go to washroom. He went inside a toilet and closed the door. Only then he let himself to break down. His eyes started to flow tears.
He leaned in the door and cried his heart out. He didn't want to meet Phoon ever again. But he met him again twice already. He knew he'd meet him again soon. He need to be brave so he will not break down in front of him. Dunk knew that Phoon wanted to seem like this. He wanted his life to be miserable. Dunk was not going to give him that pleasure.

After sometime Dunk came out of the toilet. He was surprised to see someone was waiting for him inside the wash room.

A/N:

I usually don't update on weekends. But I had a holiday tomorrow. I am planning to end this story soon. Actually writing this story is really challenging for me.

Even though I said soon, it will take sometime. So don't worry.😁😁

I have something to attend tomorrow. So I don't thin I'll be able to post tomorrow. But I'll try.

And I was supposed to post this yesterday since yesterday was Pond's birthday party. But I couldn't finish one time.

I hope the story is not getting boring..😭😭😭😭😭
