Part 5: Once in, Never out

Joong was escalated when Pond said to him that Dunk liked to take the job. And he promised Joong that he'll come on next Monday.

So now in the Monday morning Joong and Lego were eagerly waiting for their new baby sitter to come.

Lego ran to the door when he heard the door bell ring. His smile winded when he saw Dunk standing in front of his door.

"Uncle DunkDunk.. I was waiting for you." Lego dragged Dunk inside his house. Joong tried to act his best to look like he didn't waiting for him. Dunk smiled at both Lego and Joong. But he felt bit shy around Joong.

"So, he already had his breakfast, you don't have worry about that. Second room in the corridor is his room. If you need anything call me. I'll send someone. And make yourself home." Joong kept talking and Dunk was listening to him intently while looking around the house.

It was actually a Penthouse and it was Dunk's first time coming to a this big house. He looked around with awe.

"Your house is so big."

Joong couldn't help but smile at Dunk's expression. He looked like a little boy who went to an amusement park for the first time. He was really excited. Joong wanted to stay home with Dunk. But it will ruin the whole purpose.

"Don't get lost." Joong said teasingly and Dunk glared at him.

"Uncle DunkDunk, let's play a lot today."

"And one more thing.. Don't give him much sugar. Trust me, You don't want him all excited the whole day."

Dunk noded his head. Joong took his bag and came to Lego. Then he carried him in his arms.

"Now, be a good kid. Don't make it hard for uncle Dunk. Papa will come soon."

"I'll be a good kid papa. You don't worry." Said Lego sniffing Joong's cheek and Joong kissed him back. Dunk smiled sweetly seeing father and son interaction.

Joong ruffled Lego's head and noded at Dunk before leaving the house.

"So what do we going to do?" Aked Dunk.

"Let's make the tallest tower in the world." Lego said excitedly while taking his building blocks out. Dunk was surprised to see a big bucket full of building blocks. Lego wasn't joking when he said he was going to make the tallest tower.

The day unfolded with laughter, games, and the occasional tower collapse. Dunk navigated through Lego's energetic world with ease, and the two bonded over shared stories and playful banter.

Joong came to a very messy house and two silhouettes cuddling in a couch. Dunk was watching something on tv while laying on the couch and Lego was sleeping soundly in his chest.

Dunk looked at Joong when he heard the door open. He got up carefully taking Lego in his arms.

"Why didn't you put him in the bed?" Looking at his son lovingly.

"I thought he would feel lonely." Dunk said and smiled looking at Lego.

"I'll put him in bed." Joong said trying to take Lego from Dunk and. the boy woke up.

"Oh papa, when did you came?" Lego asked with his little sleepy voice. Both Joong and Dunk smiled at his cuteness.

"Just now baby. Let's go and sleep on the bed. okay?" Lego noded and yawned. Joong took him from Dunk's arms and he fell sleep again on Joong's shoulder.

Dunk cleaned the mess they made. As Dunk was finishing Joong came back.

"You have a very nice kid." Dunk said and Joong smiled.

"He had three baby sitters in one month. From all baby sitters he had you are the first one who said he is nice." Joong said and Dunk looked and him with disbelief. He couldn't believe that someone sais bad about this nice kid.

"Are you for real?" Joong noded to that.

"Wow! They must be so mean then."

"Well then, I'll take that as you are coming tomorrow?"

"Of course I am coming tomorrow." Joong couldn't help but smile at that. He could see Dunk's genuine love for Lego.

Joong hadn't seen anyone care for Lego like that after his wife's death. Pond and Phuwin cared but there was a difference. Joong couldn't said exactly how. But he knew it.  He just wished that Dunk could keep his son happy forever.

A/N:

I CAN'T WRITE THIS FLUFFY LOVELY DOWLEY SCENES. I WANT TO WRITE FANTASY AND BLOOD.

Aaah.. writing this is so hard. I have the whole scene in mind but not the right words.

May be I should eat a dictionary..🤔🤔
