Part 7: Hunting Past

"You always go for rich men, don't you?" Phoon said quite loudly. Dunk looked around and saw some people looking at them.

In past three years Dunk did everything he could to avoid Phoon. His obsessive ex-boyfriend. He never wanted to meet that man again. He promised himself to not to meet him again on the day he broke up with him. But life had other plans and he had to meet him in the most unexpected time.

Dunk didn't know what will Phoon said here. He didn't know what Joong would think of him after today. May be Joong would tell him to not babysit Lego anymore. He would not want someone like Dunk to take care of his son if he got to know his past. Lot of thoughts were running on Dunk's mind.

"Phoon... What do you want?" Dunk asked in a shaky voice. He was trembling and Dunk tried hard to control himself.

"I was invited by Mr.Tha himself. It's pure coincidence I met you here." Phoon said. He tried to hold Dunk's shoulder. Dunk flinched and moved away from his touch.

"I'm here with Joo- I mean Mr.Archen." Dunk said. Phoon looked at the said man. He was watching at Phoon intensely.

"Hello Mr.Archen. It's nice to meet you." Phoon stretched his hand. Joong shaked hands with him but didn't said anything. He didn't drop his intense gaze either.

"Dunk, didn't you tell Mr.Archen about me. Your ex-boyfriend." Phoon didn't forget to emphasize the ex-boyfriend part.

"I didn't ask about his personal information. I know everything about him that I should know." Joong said without wavering his gaze.

"Then you may not know that he begged me not to break up with him. He was so desperate to keep me." Phoon said smiling mockingly at Dunk.

"Phoon stop." Dunk said and he had started to sweat. At the same time his eyes filled with tears. He couldn't look at Joong anymore. He couldn't face him.

Dunk started to get more and more nervous. But at the right moment a little angel came to save Dunk.

"Papa, I'm hungry." Little Lego said as he sit on Joong's lap. Joong teared his gaze from Phoon and looked at his son. Then he looked at Dunk who now clenching his fist until his knuckles turned white.

"Dunk, can you take Lego with you to eat something. You know him better than me." Joong said. Dunk startled by Joong but managed to compose a calm posture.

"Okay. Let's go Lego." Dunk stretched his hand and the little boy quickly came to his lap. Dunk carried the boy and went to where food was served. Dunk saw Phoon was talking with Joong and Joong siad something then Phoon left. Dunk couldn't help but wonder how he going to face Joong again. He didn't want to face Joong. So he did the first thing that came to his mind. He used Lego to avoid Joong. He took Lego everywhere around the hall. Showing him all the decorations, foods and drinks. When he saw Joong was coming his way he would turn around and go other way. He made sure he wouldn't meet with Phoon either.

Dunk could successfully avoid Joong until Lego fell sleep on his shoulder. He had no choice but to go to Joong when the little guy fell sleep.

Joong was talking with a guy and excused himself when he saw Dunk walking towards him with sleeping Lego in his arms.

"Did he fell sleep this early?" Joong asked looking at the sleeping figure.

"Yeah. Think he is tired."

"Hmmm. Let's go home then. Let me inform Mr.Tha first." Joong said. Dunk noded and went to where Mr.Tha was.

A/N:

First, This Phoon is not Typhoon from SIMM. I still didn't think what will his future roll in this story but he'll be there for a while.

It was a very tired day for me today. I did proof read but I think I may have missed one or two. Sorry about that. 🙏🙏
