Part 15: Accident

In Monday morning Dunk came early to Joong's house because Joong had a meeting early morning. But he was surprised to see Nine already there. They were all sitting near the kitchen counter and having their breakfast. They looked like a little family and Dunk couldn't help but feel jealous of them.

"Uncle DunkDunk" Both Joong and Nine turned towards Dunk with Lego's scream.

"Uncle DunkDunk, uncle Nine brought us breakfast today. He brought my favourite strawberry waffles." Lego said excitedly.

"I know both you and your papa love strawberry waffles." Nine said stroking Lego's hair.

"Uncle DunkDunk also likes strawberry waffles. So I saved you some." Said Lego handing the plate of waffles to Dunk. Lego was standing on his chair and bending to give Dunk the plate. Suddenly unexpected happened. The chair fell down with Lego. The plate fell down from Lego's hand and broke into pieces. Everything happened so fast. At the end Dunk was on the ground holding Lego in his arms protectively and his whole upper arm was cut because of the pieces of the plate.

Joong went to Dunk fast and got Lego from him. Then he helped Dunk to stand up.

"Dunk, your arm is cut." Joong said worriedly seeing that Dunk's hand was bleeding. Lego started to cry because of the shock.

"It's okay. Don't cry." Dunk and Joong tried to reassure Lego but the boy kept crying hugging both Joong and Dunk.

"Joong we are getting late." Nine said disturbing them and Lego hugged Joong tight and cried hard.

"Baby.. Let go of papa. He needs go to office." Dunk said taking Lego from Joong's hands.

"But we need to treat your wounds first." Joong said and went to his room. Then he came out with a first aid kit. He made Dunk sit on the couch.

"It's okay Joong. I can do it myself." But Joong didn't let him. He treated Dunk's wounds carefully. Dunk hissed with the pain few times and Joong apologized to him.

"Joong, I'm sorry I screamed at you the other day." Dunk said not looking at Joong. He kept looking at the floor. Joong stopped for a moment but again started to bandage the wound. He sighed before speak again.

"I already forgot it. You don't have to apologise. I'm sorry if I did anything to make you uncomfortable." Dunk looked at Joong with his words. Joong was already looking at him with a smile on his face. Dunk couldn't help but smile back. Joong stroked Dunk's hand with his thump. For a moment Dunk lost in Joong's eyes.

"Ehem.. Joong, we'll be late for the meeting." Both Joong amd Dunk forgot that there was another person in the room. Joong let go of Dunk's hand and got up. Dunk got up with him with Lego in his arms.

"Oh.. Dunk, Tomorrow can you accompany me to Pond's birthday party. So Lego won't be alone." Joong asked Dunk before he leave. Dunk was about to say yes, but Nine interrupted him.

"Why do you bother him Joong. It's enough that he takes care of Lego at day time. I'll be there in the party. I can take care of Lego tomorrow."

"It okay Joong. Pond already invited me. So I'll be there anyway." Dunk said before Joong or Nine could say anything else.

"Oh right. You are Phuwin's best friend. How could he not invites you. Then I'll pick you tomorrow night." Joong said. He had a very happy smile in his face. Dunk noded, but he was sure that Nine was clearly upset. Dunk had no idea why.

"I'll see you in the evening pup." Joong kissed Lego and went out with Nine. Dunk felt the usual pain in his heart seeing them leaving together.

A/N: I know the chapters are short. But I am too busy. If I were to write long chapters then I can only post one chapter for a week. So I think this way is better.
