Part 23: Found and Lost

"Phu, hurry up. We'll be too late." Joong urged his friend to drive fast as if he was not driving 120km/h speed.

"Joong, if we met with an accident no one can help Dunk and Lego." Pond said annoyingly. He could understand his friend's feelings. Both his son and lover was missing. Pond was not really sure what Joong's relationship with Dunk anymore. But he knew for sure that his friend loved Dunk so much.

Joong shut his mouth and stared out of the window. He couldn't believe Dunk went alone to save Lego. Joong wondered how Dunk knew it was Phoon who kidnapped Lego. And he wondered whether his friend Nine was involved with Phoon or not. At the moment Joong could only believe in Pond and Phuwin.

At the warehouse

Phoon came closer to Dunk. Dunk hid Lego behind him. He could feel the little boy shivering behind him.

"Phoon, you want me. Let Lego go." Dunk said loudly. He felt goosebumps rising on his skin as Phoon came closer.

"Of course I will let him go. After Joong give me money. So I can go abroad with you. We won't come back ever again." Phoon said laughing.

"It was not our deal. You promised you'll let him go."

"Promises are meant to be broken Dunk. All I care about is money and you."

"You don't care about me. You are just obsessed." Dunk said angrily. He was shaking with the anger.

Phoon came to Dunk and grabbed him by the shoulder. Then he leaned into Dunk. But Dunk leaned back.

"Whatever it is, you are mine at the end. That's what matters." Phoon wishpered in Dunk's ear. Dunk pushed him away hard. Phoon fell to the ground. Dunk took the chance and ran out of the warehouse with Lego. But Dunk couldn't run for long as someone came in front of him.

"Dunk, hurry up. Let's go. Joong sent me to save you." The person said. But Dunk stopped in his tracks. He felt Lego's grip tightened.

"What are you doing, hurry up." The person said urging Dunk.

"Nine, I know you are with him. You can't outsmart me." Dunk said holding Lego tight.

As Dunk said that Nine's facial expressions changed. He laughed mockingly at Dunk.

"You are really smart Dunk. I should give that to you." Nine said. Phoon came behind Dunk. Dunk was trapped. He had no where to go.

"When Phoon take you with him there will be no any obstacles between me and Joong. He'll finally be mine." Nine said smiling victoriously.

"Nine, take the boy with you. I need some alone time with my future partner." Phoon said as he hand Lego to Nine. Lego started to cry when he was taken away from Dunk. Dunk tried to stop Nine from taking him. But Phoon held him. Dunk couldn't do anything except watching helplessly as Nine took the crying boy away from him.

"Phoon, please don't hurt him. He is just a little boy." Dunk begged fy Phoon. His eyes filled with tears as he remembered Lego's terrified eyes and crying.

"If you stop resisting and come with me nothing will happen to him. Only if Joong gave me money."

"I will come with you. Please don't do anything to him." Dunk said crying. A satisfied smile crept into Phoon's face.

With Joong

"It's here. The warehouse. Joong, be careful. We don't know what kind of a man Phoon is." Pond said as he handed the bag with money to Joong. Joong noded his head and took the bag.

"As far as I know, Phoon is a psychopath. So don't fell into his trap. He may have both Lego and Dunk." Phuwin also warned Joong. Both Pond and Phuwin didn't like the idea of Joong going alone to meet Phoon. But they had no choice.

Joong went straight to the warehouse. Cautious with his surroundings. He looked for any clue to figure out whether Lego or Dunk was there.

"Stop right there." Joong heard Phoon's voice from inside the warehouse. He stopped in his tracks.

"I bought you your money. Give me my son back." Joong said loudly.

"Put the bag down and go back."

"I'm not going without my son."

Phoon came out with Lego in his hand. He had a gun aimed at Lego's head. Joong could see the small figure trembling with fear. Joong's heart break into pieces seeing his son's terrified look. He put the bag down and backed away from it. Phoon took the bag and put Lego down.

"Joong, I have Dunk with me. I know you care about him. So don't try any tricks with me, or you will not see him ever again."

Phoon went inside the warehouse again. Joong ran to Lego as soon Phoon left. He took the boy in his arms and said soothing words to him while rubbing his back. The boy cried hard in Joong's arms. Joong heard a sound of a vehicle retrieved from the warehouse and he knew Phoon escaped from him with Dunk.

Last part of this week. I didn't want to end it in a cliff hanger. But it happened. Sorry 😁😁🙏🙏

As I told you in previous chapter this story will end in few more chapters. within 3 or 4. After finishing this I might not write any long au until the end of May. But I'll write small one shots and drabbles in here as well as X.

And I'm planning to write the PondPhuwin arc from Children of Moon too. It will be a story with few parts. I haven't still built the story. If I finish it before April I'll post it.
