Part 6: Shaken Heart

It s been two week since Dunk started to baby sit Lego. Usually he would stay until about 6 o'clock. Because Joong came about that time. But today Joong had informed him he had a party to attend and asked Dunk to stay the night. Dunk had no choice but to agree.

Dunk was surprised to see that Joong was calling him in the evening. He thought that Joong wanted to check on Lego before attending the party.

"Dunk, I need a help from you. My friends said they want to meet Lego and bothering me to bring him to the party tonight." Joong said as soon as Dunk answered the phone.

"Oh! Okay. When are you coming to get him? I'll get him ready by that." Dunk said. He didn't understand why Joong tried to make it a big deal.

"Dunk" Joong said his name with such a seriousness that Dunk started to get nervous.

"I want you to go to the party with me." It took Dunk few seconds to register what Joong said.

"huh?"

"If I brought Lego with me I can't keep him company all the time. Can you please come with me." Dunk could imagine Joong's pleading eyes even though he couldn't see him. Dunk sighed. He actually had no choice.

"Okay. I'll go with you. But I don't have anything to wear for the event."

"It's okay. I'll send you a suit. Be ready by the six. I'll come and get you."

"okay"

Dunk sighed as he hung up the phone. He thought again how he ended up in this situation.

"Uncle DunkDunk, what did papa said." Lego's cute voice dragged Dunk back to reality.

"Your papa want us to attend the party with him."

"Oh then let's get ready." Lego said excitedly.

Dunk sighed for the third time. It's going to be a long night for him.

By the six o'clock Dunk was ready with Lego to go out. Joong had sent Dunk a full black suit. It came with a black laced shirt, a black tie, a black blazer and pants. Dunk styled his hair the way it covers his forehead.

Joong was speechless seeing Dunk. He hadn't seen anyone that beautiful before. The elegant black suit accentuated Dunk's features, making him look effortlessly sophisticated

"Wow, you look amazing." Joong said and Dunk blushed with the compliment.

"Shall we go now?" Dunk tried to hide his blush eagering Lego to go outside.

All three of them went to the parking lot. Dunk carried Lego in his arms. Joong opened the car door for Dunk. Dunk thanked him and got inside with Lego.

Dunk was awed when he saw the size of the venue. It was the biggest hall Dunk had ever seen in his life. Dunk was thankful to Joong for sending him a nice suit. He didn't have anything that matches with the vibe of the place. He would have embarrassed Joong if he wore his old ragged clothes to there.

Lot of people turned around to look at Dunk for two reasons. One was definitely for his earth real beauty. The other reason was he was with the Joong Archen. One of the most successful persons in Thailand. Everyone knew that Joong was a single dad. So everyone was curious to know who was his company since the said person had a very rich vibe. And Joong's one and only son was in his arms.

"Hello Mr.Archen. It's nice to have you tonight." A middle aged man approached Joong. Stretching his hand towards Joong. Joong shaked hands with him.

"Thank you Mr. Tha. The pleasure is mine actually."

"This must be Archen Jr." Mr.Tha said smiling kindly at the little boy. Lego smiled back.

"My name is Lego Archen." Lego said sweetly. Mr.Tha ruffled Lego's hair.

"I'm not sure I have met you before." Mr.Tha said looking at Dunk curiously. Dunk was about to reply but Joong beat him.

"He is my friend and the companion for tonight." Dunk looked at Joong quite shocked. He didn't expect Joong to introduce him as his friend. Dunk didn't said anything and smiled at Mr.Tha.

Mr.Tha excused himself and went for the other guests.

"Why did you lie." Joong asked Dunk as they took seats.

"I didn't lie. Aren't we friends?" Joong asked looking intensely at Dunk. Dunk couldn't answer to that. He never thought what his actual relationship ship with Joong. When Phuwin asked him of he want to take care of the baby Lego he said yes because he really loved Lego. Because of Lego he get to acquisit Joong. But he never thought whether they were friends or just acquisits.

"Hey! What happened to you?" Joong asked worriedly since Dunk went quiet suddenly.

"N- nothing. I just lost in my thoughts." Dunk said. Joong didn't asked anything further.

And at that time a man approached them. Dunk was surprised and took off guard because of him.

"Dunk? wow, it's really you. I'll never expect to see you in this kind of event."

"Phoon??"
