Part 22: Lost and Found

"Dunk baby, It's late. Why did you call me this late." Dunk was on the phone with someone. He was in the balcony of Joong's room. He peeked at Joong to make sure that he was sleeping.

"I know you have Lego with you Phoon. What do you want." Dunk tried his best to keep his voice to minimum. He wanted to scream at Phoon but he was afraid that Joong would wake up.

Dunk heard Phoon laughed from the other side. He felt his patience wear this as each passing minute.

"You never failed to amaze me Dunk. Tell me, how do you know it was me?"

"So it was really you? I knew that was your voice. What do you want Phoon? Please don't hurt him." Dunk almost pleaded. He remembered everything that Phoon did to him. He was scared that he would do something bad to the little boy.

"Let's have a deal Dunk. If you come to me back I will release the boy." Phoon said. Dunk could swear that Phoon was smirking. Dunk felt the familiar territor od been abused engulf him as Phoon's words echoed in his mind. Dunk started to think fast. He would never go back to Phoon again. But he couldn't let him todo anything to Lego.

"I need your word Phoon. Promise me you won't harm Lego."

"I promise you Dunk. I won't harm him." Dunk knew very well that they were just empty words. But he wanted to make Phoon believe him.

"What should I do?" Dunk asked.

"Do you remember our old place? That abandoned warehouse. Come there tomorrow. Make sure you are alone. " With that he hung up the phone. Dunk sighed and look at the scenery in front. He hoped that he was doing the right thing.

Dunk went to bed where Joong was sleeping. He laid beside him and stroked his hair gently.

"Everything will be fine Joong. Don't worry." Dunk kissed Joong's head. Joong hugged Dunk in his sleep. Dunk hugged him back and fell sleep.

Morning

Joong woke up to a empty bed. No one was beside him. He was clearly remember Dunk slept with him the other day.

"Maybe he woke up and  went down first."

Joong thought to himself and was ready to went down. But he stopped seeing a nite beside bed side table. He ran downstairs as soon as he saw the note.

"Pond, Phuwin!"

Pond and Phuwin were in the kitchen. They came as soon they heard Joong. Joong showed them the note. Their eyes widened seeing the note.

"We should inform the police." Phuwin said.

"But Dunk clearly said we can't." Joong said.

"What should we do then? Should we stay here and do nothing?" Pond asked. Joong and Phuwin didn't said anything to it. They didn't know what to do either.

With Dunk

Dunk went to the abandoned warehouse. It was same as he remembered. He felt his trauma coming back again. He tried his best to not to break down. He needs to find Lego first. He entered the warehouse looking around.

The warehouse was drowned in darkness. Olny light was coming from the roof where there was a hole. Dunk looked through the warehouse to see if Lego or Phoon was there.

As Dunk continued through the search his mind started to worry about Lego. He couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to Lego.

Suddenly, a noise from the far corner of the warehouse caught Dunk's attention. He froze, his heart pounding as

he strained to listen for any further sounds. After a moment of tense silence, he cautiously made his way towards the source of the noise.

As Dunk approached, he heard faint whimpering coming from behind a stack of crates. His heart skipped a beat with both relief and dread as he realized it could be Lego.

Carefully, Dunk moved the crates aside, revealing a small figure huddled on the ground. It was Lego, his face streaked with tears and his eyes wide with fear.

"Lego, it's me, it's your uncle DunkDunk." Dunk said softly, his voice trembling with emotion as he reached out to the little boy. Lego looked up, his eyes filled with relief as he rushed into Dunk's arms.

Dunk held Lego tightly in his arms. He was relieved that Lego was fine. But he couldn't shake of the feeling that it's not over yet. As he was there consoling the poor boy Dunk heard someone coming behind him. He turned around and saw Phoon standing behind him with an evil grin.

A/N:

Early update today. I got a break from my work after a very tiring week. I will try to update tomorrow also. Then I'll rest for the weekend. Actually not resting. I'll have lectures 8-5 😭😭😭
