Part 25: Revealed

"I told you to take him and escape from this country as soon as possible." Nine screamed to his phone. He tried to keep his voice low as much as possible since he was still in Joong's place. Nine was angry with Phoon. All he had to do was take Dunk with him and leave the country. Away from Joong's life. So Nine can become his companion.

Nine tried so hard for that. He always loved Joong from his college times. But Joong never acknowledged him more than a friend. It frustrated Nine. He was planning to confess Joong after graduation. But Joong's father ruined everything from introducing Lego's mother to Joong. Joong and her didn't love each other in the beginning. It was a marriage of convenience. Joong's father and her father were business partners.

When Nine heard the news of Joong's wife passed away by an accident three years ago he was escalated. For the last two years he made his way through to Joong's life again. But a mere babysitter came and ruined all his plans. Nine had to make his plans again and thow Dunk out of the picture. As a miracle he got to know Phoon, Dunk's ex-boyfriend who still was obsessed with Dunk.

Nine's plan was a success until a few minutes ago. Until someone called Force came and find where Phoon was hiding. Nine had no choice but to warn Phoon. As soon as Force and Book left Nine excused himself saying he had to attend a meeting and left Joong's house. He called Phoon after coming to the parking.

"You know what I have went through just be close to Joong. All you need to do is take Dunk away from Joong. I even helped you to kidnap Lego by distracting Joong." Nine said to the his phone. Phoon said something from the otherside.

"For now go to my place and stay there. Get rid of that damn phone. When are going back?" Nine asked.

"Okay. I'll send you a vehicle tomorrow morning. So no one will see you leaving. Don't mess anything." After that he hung up the phone. He turned around to get into his car. Nine froze on his track seeing there was a person near him. He could clearly see the person's eyes were burning with anger. He had definitely heard everything he said just now. Not only that the person had his phone in his hand and Nine could clearly see there was a recording app running.Nine felt sweat forming his forehead. He was going to face the wrath of the person in front of him.

"J-Joong!" Nine stuttered seeing Joong's angry face. Pond and Phuwin was behind them. Force was also there.

"Joong, it's not what you think. Dunk planned all this with Phoon. He threatened me to help him. I didn't -"

"SHUT UP NINE." Joong screamed.

"How could you do this to me. I thought you were my friend." Joong said. His eyes reflecting anger, as well as pain of betrayal.

"Joong, Let me explain. Dunk did this all."

"Do you think we don't know anything? We know everything you did from the beginning. " Phuwin's screamed with anger. Nine's eyes widend with surprise.

Flashback

"Papa!" Joong was sleeping and he heard Lego called him beside him. It was the first time the little guy spoke to Joong after he rescued him.

"What is it baby?" Joong got up and took his baby in his arms.

"Papa, don't let uncle Nine to come near me. He is bad." Lego said. His eyes filled with tears and he was pleading with his eyes.

"Why did you say so baby? Didn't you like uncle Nine before." Joong asked and Lego shook his head.

"Uncle Nine help the bad uncle. He even told uncle DunkDunk bad things." Lego said. Joong understood what his son was trying to tell him. Nine is behind the kidnap of his son. He works with Phoon.

"Don't worry baby. I will not let uncle Nine to come near Joong." Joong said stroking his son's hair and kissing his forehead.

Joong took his phone amd called Pond. He knew Phuwin also with him.

"Buddy, It's late. Did you get any news about Dunk?" Pond asked as Joong was calling him in midnight.

"No, but Lego told me something important just now." Joong told everything to Pond and Phuwin. They were surprised to hear that too.

"I never really liked that Nine guy." Phuwin said in the end.

"What do we going to do now?" Joong asked from his friend. He had no idea what to do right now.

"You know phi Book.. Dunk's brother.. His boyfriend is a private investigator. We can ask him for help." Phuwin said after a while.

"Okay. We need to find Dunk and catch Phoon and Nine."

"We'll do it buddy. Don't worry." With that all of them hung up.

End of Flashback

Nine's face controverted with fear. He never thought they'll find out about him. He even threatened the small boy not to talk about him. But everything had revealed. Nine knew he has no escape now. He held his head low.

"I'm sorry Joong. I did everything because I love you." Joong didn't said anything to it.

"Where is Dunk now?" All Joong asked about Dunk. At that moment Nine realised he could never win Joong's heart. It was only belonged to on Person and that person was not him.

"I asked Phoon to hide in my place."

Force came forward and grabbed Nine.

"I'll inform the police to send a rescue team. I'll take Nine with me. Send me that audio clip for the proof." Force said. Phuwin noded and sent the clip righ away. Then Force left taking Nine with him.

Joong, Pond and Phuwin came back to Joong's apartment. Book was waiting there for them with Lego. They updated Book with everything. Right now all they could do was wait until they get some news.
