Part 17: Healing Embrace

"Joong! Why are you here?" Dunk was surprised to see Joong outside the toilet. He was leaning on a sink waiting for Dunk to comw out. But he didn't say anything to Dunk.

"Where's Lego?" Dunk asked again since Joong didn't answer his previous question.

"He is with Phuwin." Joong said looking straightly at Dunk. Dunk noded his head and went to the sink to wash his hands.

"Are you okay?" This time Joong asked Dunk.

"Yeah"

"Is that why you cried in a toilet?"

Dunk didn't say anything to that. So Joong kept talking.

"I don't know what happened between you and him, but I can say that he does not worth it. Don't cry for unworthy person." Joong said.

"This is none of your problem Joong. This is my problem and I can take care of it myself." Dunk turned off the tap and was about to go out of the wash room. But Joong grabbed him by the shoulder.

"Dunk, I care about you. Aren't we friends?" Joong asked while looking at Dunk intensely.

"No Joong. I am just your son's babysitter." Dunk tried to get himself free from Joong's grip. He didn't looked at Joong in the eye. Joong's grip on Dunk's shoulder tightened.

"You are more than that Dunk. Please let me help you. You don't have to bear this pain alone." Joong said desperately. Dunk could see tears in Joong's eyes. Seeing that Dunk's eyes also filled with tears. But this time he didn't hold them back. He let them flow in his face. 

Joong let go of Dunk's shoulder and wiped Dunk's cheek and eyes. Then he pulled Dunk into a hug. Dunk hugged Joong back and broke down in his arms. Joong wrapped his one hand around Dunk's shoulder and stroked his head gently with other hand.

"It's okay Dunk. Everything will be alright." Joong mumbled in Dunk's ears.

For all those years, Dunk didn't had anyone in his life who cares for him except for his brother and Phuwin. So when someone said that he wanted to share Dunk's pain with him he couldn't help but cry in joy.

Dunk didn't want to show his brother or Phuwin that how much Phoon hurt him. He his whole his pain inside him and showed a very happy face. He never let himself to break down in front of anyone. Not even in front of Phoon. But right now he was crying on a shoulder of a person he never imagined of. Dunk felt warm and secure around Joong.

As Dunk found solace in Joong's embrace, he realized the depth of the connection they shared. In that moment of vulnerability, Dunk felt a sense of comfort he had longed for, a reassurance that he wasn't alone in his pain.

Joong held Dunk close, offering silent support and understanding. He knew that words alone couldn't heal the wounds Dunk carried, but he hoped that his presence could provide some measure of comfort.

For Dunk, this unexpected display of empathy from Joong shattered the walls he had built around his heart. He had always believed that he had to face his battles alone, but now, in Joong's embrace, he found a newfound sense of belonging.

Eventually they parted. Dunk had stopped crying. This time he looked at Joong in the eyes.

"Thank you Joong." Dunk said showing a very beautiful smile to him. He was grateful that Joong was there for him.

Joong noded his head. Promising silently that he'll be always there for him.

Two be unknown to them two people were listening from the outside of the bathroom. Both looked furious.

"I'll never let you two to be happy." One person said. The other noded his head agreeing with him.

"If you think you can live away from me, you are so wrong Dunk. I'll never let you go."

Both of them smiled evilly and left the bathroom.
