Mila
"You're avoiding me." I hear, I tilt my head up as I lay down on the pool chair, my heart shrinking and falling to my ass at the sight of him, it's been a few days since that night.
"No, I'm not." I quickly defend myself, all I get from that is a raised brow.
I am.
It's not like I hated what happened or regretted it, it just scared me, so the next morning when I woke up, I bolted and been avoiding him ever since, some may say I have issues communicating my emotions, they wouldn't be entirely wrong.
Giovanni is dressed in a clean Armani suit, it looks like he is going somewhere, we were getting married in 2 days and the closer the day gets the more guilty I feel.
Giovanni rolls up his sleeve revealing an arm full of tattoos, I take my sunglasses off as I look at him. "You're ruining my tan," I say as he stands above me, covering the sun from hitting me.
"You're ruining my mood, why are you avoiding me?" He replies in a cool and collected tone, but I knew the grumpy man was nothing close to cool and collected.
"I'm not avoiding you." I try the weak excuse to which I receive a blank stare.
"Are you always this stubborn?" He says, letting it go as he sits at the foot of the pool chair.
"Yes, will that make you have second thoughts about the marriage?" I reply in a hopeful tone, he just smirks at that as I pull myself up.
"Nice try, princess," he says.
I roll my eyes. "Where are you off to?" I ask tilting my head, he looked so good, and he smelled amazing, I could stare at him all day.
His gaze traveled down my body, examining every inch of my black bikini set, I raised a brow at him as his gaze made his way back to my face.
He ignores my gaze completely as he stares into my eyes like he's trying to catch my reaction to his next words. "I have a date."
Oh.
I don't let my gaze falter as I reply a simple. "Cute." He smirks at that as I place my glasses back onto my face.
Arrogant asshole.
"Hey guys," Sergio says as he steps out of the house and onto the pool chair beside me, he only had on his swim trunks, and the sun shined against his hard stomach.
Wow.
"Woah Mila, you look hot," Sergio smirks in an attempt to flirt, I chuckle at that.
"Thank you, not so bad yourself." I raise the glasses over my head, getting a better look, and yup, he was hot.
"I thought I told you and Dario to check on the supply." A voice interrupts, and Sergio shrugs.
"He was being an asshole, so I let him take care of it alone," Sergio says as he puts his hands behind his head, taking in the sun.
My eyes don't leave Sergio as my eyes drag down his body, a throat clears grabbing my attention from Serg and onto caption arrogance. "Enjoying the show?" He says with a tilt of his head as his tongue runs over his teeth in annoyance.
Jealous much?
As hot as that was, I decided to feed into his jealousy, I raised a brow at him as I pulled out my phone. "Sergio, can I get your number? We-"
I don't finish my sentence as my phone is being snatched away from me, I snap my head towards Gio as he throws the cell into the pool. "You asshole!" I jump up and run over to the pool, watching my phone sink as I jump in to grab it.
